The Newcastle Christmas Lights were switched on by Wes Nelson from TV's 'Love Island', with Robbie Benson and Steve Ball from The Hitmix. Lots of local talent performed throughout the day. What a great day we had - the town was packed and there was a lovely festive atmosphere. Happy Christmas Everyone!!!!

Since I discovered HitMix my car radio is set to HitMix only, all the DJ's are wonderful and very friendly especially Robbie, Gary (ticker) and Chris (early evening show) the chap also Gary is very sweet too! So well done everyone involved with the HitMix.... Marcus

I normally listen to another local radio station (mentioning no names) but recently it's become boring so I tuned in to you and I've been a convert ever since! Nice job at playing a fantastic range of music from every decade going and not sticking to the same boring g ones! Well done guys xx

I booked The Wonderful lads from HitMix to provide the music and Karaoke for my 50th Birthday Party, they were amazing the music was fabulous and everyone loved the Karaoke. They are the loveliest people to deal with and I had lots of lovely comments about how great they were. I would not hesitate to recommend them for your event. Xxxx

Hi guys. Just wanted to say a big 'Thankyou' to Ian Maddock for playing my Take-over selection today. It was a bit surreal hearing my name on the radio and it did take me by surprise as I submitted it about three days ago. I was driving through Longton and suddenly thought, "Eh up that's me". Never expected it and it made my day, set me up for the afternoon half of my shift. Cheers.

Good music that’s not repeated over and over again every day like signal 1. Top station

Found this station not long ago and I absolutely love the music 🎶 tuned In all the time now 😊

Fantastic station that plays pretty much anything, I'm pretty sure o heard the Dead Kennedys followed by pink the other week . None of this just top 40 stuff, a real breath of fresh air on the sound waves, just a shame I can't get it when I'm down in Wales. Keep it up.
