Tomorrow Katie Ross is hosting a family fun day from 1:30pm to raise money for Cystic fibrosis (CF), a life-limiting genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people across the UK. It affects the lungs and digestive system and can cause chronic infections and reduced lung function. Currently, half of those with CF will not live past age 41.
There will be cakes, face painting, glitter make up, raffle, tombola and live music so something for everyone and all for a great cause. We'd love to see you!

St Patrick's Day fun at The Horse and Chains. Thank you so much to band Missing The ferry for kicking us off, The brilliant Elaine Walsh School of Music, our Irish Dancers, Kim the fabulous balloon lady, Katie and Antonia our face painters, The Tipperary Rambler and of course our amazing bar staff what a celebration!! We hope you enjoyed the craic as much as we did ☘

We just celebrated my 50th birthday with a dinner party at The Horse and Chains.

We contacted Richard several months ago to book the restaurant. We requested certain wines (which Richard sourced for us) and chose a menu giving 5 options for each course. Jeff and the team made sure our guests were well looked after. Their efficient manner made the evenings events go to plan from reception drinks, seating in a timely fashion, taking the meal orders for nearly 40 guests and then serving each course. They found a candle for my cake (which I forgot) and after singing happy birthday to me they then cut and served the cake to those who still had room! Most guests opted to take cake home as they were so stuffed! We then had time to sit and chat, or to dance the night away.

David and I would like to thank you all for your help in making my 50th such a memorable occassion.

We would not hesitate in recommending The Horse and Chains.

We celebrated my dads 75th birthday here today. We had wonderful service, amazing food and the atmosphere was fantastic. My dad just called me to say one of the best roast dinners he's ever had and he especially enjoyed Geoff/Jeff singing he wants to know if he's in a choir �. This is hands down my favourite local restaurant. It's reasonable, the food is delicious, the staff are lovely and it's so cosy. I think I'm actually addicted to the food here. Looking forward to going again tonight �

The Horse and Chains in Bushey is my favourite local place to hang out. The bar area is warm, cosy and inviting and in the warmer months the outside area is pretty and comfortable. The restaurant offers a good choice of food from morning through to dinner or bar snacks are on offer as an alternative. The area at the back of the pub is great for a small party and the friendly staff can not do enough for you. I always choose this pub to meet friends and I feel so lucky to have this lovely place on my doorstep.

Thank you to all of the amazing staff who looked after my family so well last night. The Snug was the perfect place for our group of 16. Tristan our waiter was extremely helpful and our food was delicious! From the moment we walked through the door we were very well looked after. Thank you to everyone again for making our evening so wonderful and for making the Horse and Chains one of the best pubs in Bushey!

My partner and I have been to the horse and chains enough times to know how good the food tastes, we never come away disappointed...hence the reason we have been so many times. What we like most is that the menu changes and there is always the options of specials which you don't get with a lot of restaurants or pubs. We should be returning in the next few weeks...Can't wait.

I went in on Friday with four friends for lunch we chose off the lunchtime special menu the food was excellent and fantastic value and the girls that served us were lovely definitely recommend it and can’t wait to go again

I had a wonderful lamb roast today and the Eton dessert was wonderful!! Great Service!

Husband, Darren and I went for the 'Steak & Wine' night (both had sirloin). The food was superb, red wine was decent and the staff were excellent as usual.

Friendly, great food, lovely decor, what can I say it's my favourite place. The only place I know where you can have your Sunday lunch beef rare. Say "no" to cooking Sunday dinner, as long as the Horse and chains is open, thank you, Paula at bushey blinds xxx

First time visiting here. Really lovely. Charlene was very friendly and a young Man was too didn’t get his name. Both were extremely busy today at lunchtime but so professional! Fantastic Customer Service!! Food great too. Will definitely visit again �

Am not normally a Sunday roast person, but Horse � and Chains slow cooked lamb won me over. To top it off we entered with no booking but we were served promptly with a table for four; inc two kids who were equally pleased. We will surely be back!

Our waitress Ana was excellent. Friendly environment with lovely food 😊
