We had a family meal for 10 people at The Kings Mead.Ware.The food,the service and the staff were all excellent.I will certainly be coming back for more & I would definitely recommend it to others.

We chose to eat at The King’s Mead after researching gluten free menus. One of our guests had recently been advised to stick to a gluten free diet and the menu was excellent. We all loved the gluten free sharing platters too. We will be back.

We came for a Sunday roast! Had the beef., perfectly cooked, fresh veg all done to my liking.. (I'm fussy with a roast) service was spot on & desert well I had pavlova what a size � will definitely come back for another meal..

Quickly becoming my fave food pub. Every time we visit we love the food and have taken several of our friends here who have enjoyed the food just as much. Lovely décor, very friendly staff a great addition to the area!

Ordered Salmon florentine perfectly cooked poach egg was spot on lovely meal 👌 Staff friendly & Attentive wasn't sure what to order from the wine menu so had a taster offered by the waitress well done for making our visit so pleasant 👏🏼👏🏼

The waitress was very chatty, down to earth and attentive, the food was brilliant ! A great steak and didn’t have to wait long at all even though the pub seemed pretty busy. I should have got the waitress name but unfortunate I didn’t ! She was alburn(Ish) hair in a pony tail. There were three of us (Wednesday 28th) really great pub! First visit but will defo be going back! Thankyou x

Today I brought a friend who had never been before, we had our babies and staff were so accommodating and understanding which we can’t thank them enough for. A very lovely lunch had by all!

Had a VERY NICE 3 course Sunday Roast. The food was really good quality and value for money, the staff were helpful and attentive, even checking with the kitchen that our daughter could just have smaller portions of what we were eating instead of choosing from the children’s menu. Perfect. From walking in to walking out, our experience was lovely.

Good food & excellent waitress - we were a large family gathering - ordered our food as four separate groups - she did not get flustered and our food came came out promptly. Varied menu - including a non- gluten selection.

Would highly recommend this restaurant.

I had lasagne and the meet was all wet, tasted like wall paper paste. One of the worst meals I have had in a long time. Shame as it's only down the road so somewhere we would have returned should it have been nice

Had a lovely meal but was spoilt by the fact our table wasn’t ready and we were told to get a drink at the bar and would be called when Table ready unfortunately we were there while there was a change over of staff and they were not told we were waiting. Finally got our table and the waiting staff were great and the food lovely but when it came to paying the bill the deposit we had paid had not been taken off the bill. Lucky for us there was only 3 of us but had it been a big party it may have gone unnoticed. We weren’t the only ones it happened to as the people on the next table had th3 same problem. They said it was due to the fact we had booked on line and they would be talking to,people tomorrow but it did spoil our experience somewhat.

The food was terrible, all the vegetables on the roast dinners were hard and undercooked, the cauliflower cheese sauce was all hard and dry. I think the potatoes were likely just frozen. I had lasagne and the meet was all wet, tasted like wall paper paste. One of the worst meals I have had in a long time. Shame as it's only down the road so somewhere we would have returned should it have been nice
