I went on Monday night the food was fine the staff really nice it's 2 pound cheaper than the crock log cavery but the food is just as good the service is quicker too

It's not posh or flashey it's a pub with a car park. Great for every day

Came on Christmas Day happy cheery staff, helped make it extra special. Food was good, atmosphere was great. Also saw they had a new menu, will be returning in January to make the most of their 20% offer. Keep up the good work �

This has gone really downhill. Why take bookings at a carvery if you've run out of meat??? Last Sunday they had no dinners again at 5.30. Used and be a cheap and cheerful no frills but tasty carvery but can't even say that now. Who sells a cocktail in a pint glass also???,

Me and my boyfriend used to come here alot, and recently today just came in again for a carvery. They used to give us alot of meat and the food in general used to be fresh and tasty, hence why we would recommend. But recently the deal used to have small and large, we had to ask for our meal and ticket even though the place was dead, they do not do this offer anymore were other carvary places all do them. So we were left to go up and get a small as we were starving. I asked for beef and I got one sliver of the meat, the stuffing was dry and tasted weird. I actually had a bellyache once I left. I even asked if I paid more would I be able to get more meat and the waiter said no. Very disappointed with the new management, perhaps if it goes back to the old pub I would return.

Service was that poor my partner and her friend ordered and I didnt even get to order. I went to the bar to be served they told me to wait in the restaurant. By the time someone came over to me they had finished and I didnt even bother eating.



The food they had was dire. The meat was dry and tasteless, they couldnt even tell which meat was what. The potatoes were burnt, mash potatoes sloppy, yorkshire puddings solid and the vegetables were aldente and tasteless.



Over priced drinks .... mate asked for a fanta and was given orange juice mixed with lemonade and was charged for both!!!



Absolute disgrace and disgusting place. Avoid avoid avoid... just go Mc Donalds guys �

No gluten free options!! Was told to go and buy our own gravy. At this point I wanted to leave but my mum is too polite. Her partner had to go over the road and buy her own gluten free gravy. She couldn't eat the cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puddings or two of the meats as they contained gluten and there are no other options available. Think it's disgusting to be honest. Staff were very unhelpful and unapologetic! Beef was also so tough you couldn't eat it!
