The Manor is an old rectory in the historic market town of Cheadle, Staffordshire. Built in 1758, it has now been refurbished to offer excellent facilities and accommodation.

Sorry to be away for so long but we have been so wrapped up in looking after over 5000 guests in the last six months. We are really looking forward to welcoming our last guests of the season, another 600 plus in the next three weeks. We believe you will not find a better breakfast anywhere so come and test us out. Our eggs Benedict or sm...oked salmon with scrambled eggs on a toasted muffin are just so popular. had the pleasure of visiting venue over the weekend for a wedding. Such a lovely place , made to very welcome by Peter and Ann. Lovely grounds, clean and well presented rooms. A lovely full English breakfast the day of perfect.

We stayed for 3 nights. On arrival we were met by Peter who showed us to our rooms, carried our bags and told us about the Manor and local facilities. We met Anne the next morning when we had freshly cooked breakfasts and copious amounts of coffee and tea all served by helpful and friendly Staff. We all liked our rooms and were glad of them after 2 hectic days at Alton Towers. I would thoroughly recommend The Manor.
We have just stayed this weekend in the bungalow they have was fab we will c u next year and can't wait for breakfast already haha
We have been there for our second time it's a fantastic hotel Ann Peter and all the staff are really friendly and they can't do enough for you our room was fantastic it's lovely it slept up to 8 nice and close to Alton towers we will definitely be back
We had our wedding breakfast & evening party at the manor hotel on Saturday 10th march everything about the day was perfect the food was lovely & atmosphere was amazing I couldn’t of asked for anything better thank you so much xx

Such a lovely venue and so very helpful! After being let down by another venue The Manor were brilliant enough to let us use theirs for a charity calendar shoot....with only a days notice! Simply stunning place and very welcoming. Thank you so much....I shall be recommending you to everyone!
Stayed here after a fab wedding. Clean rooms with TV free WiFi and tea and coffee. Breakfast was delicious. Was buffet of cereal fresh fruit and pancakes followed by what you wanted to order off the menu. We opted for traditional English breakfast. Tea and coffee and juices available.
Stayed at The Manor for just 1 night when visiting Alton Towers and were very happy. Was greeted very warmly and room was nicely furnished and comfortable. Free wifi and nice and toasty warm. Gardens were very pretty but unfortunately had no time to enjoy them. Breakfast the next morning was freshly cooked to order which was a pleasant surprise as so many hotels these days just precook and put in warming containers. Would definately recommend

I made my booking after searching for hours for a place near to Alton Towers that wasn't too out of budget. I booked 3 rooms for our party and can honestly say we will be coming back. The welcome we received from Dan was relaxed and reassuring and we were informed of everything we needed to know. The rooms are very clean and decorated to a high standard.....definitely deserving of its 4 star rating. Peter, the owner, was at hand for everything we needed and after spending a day at the theme park this was exactly what we needed to rest. Breakfast was included, a range of cereals, yoghurt, juices, tea, coffee and the best bit....a made to order cooked breakfast...not disappointed!
If you book here, you are definitely in for a pleasant stay!
I almost forgot, the gardens are absolutely beautiful and enjoying a wine or 2 as the sun goes down is a must.

Great B&B we loved the barn which slept our hole pity of 7 Comfortably.
Fantastic, Peter and Anne were the perfect hosts and made us very welcome. The room was excellent and the grounds were brilliant for our little boy to play in(he especially loved the carp pond). Food was delicious and the breakfasts were just right to set you up for a day at Alton Towers. We will definitely stay here again and recommend The Manor to everyone we know! Thankyou for a very pleasurable stay
