The Memorial Craftsman

Another kerbed memorial safely installed last week. A book style headstone in blue pearl granite with full cover slab.
The small engraved hearts between the dates on the stone give the memorial a unique twist that really adds to the overall character.

A small cremation memorial we crafted for a customer this week, in black granite with gold pin-line border and painted rose engraving.
Any jobs, big or small are all crafted with the same care and attention to detail ❤

Recently installed locally in Peterborough - a beautiful rustic headstone with carved rose and thistle bottom left and carved snowdrops mirrored on the right hand side.

It's been a busy couple of weeks doing a few of the more traditional flush lead inscriptions on white marble... So I made a little video of the enigmatic process behind it, as I'm often asked how it is done!

Another before and after of a recent restoration locally in Peterborough.
The whole memorial was removed and restored then a new foundation installed as the old one had cracked and subsided.
I'm always amazed by the transformation of these old weathered looking memorials. Even though the memorial was installed originally in the 1920's, nearly 100 years ago, we still achieved an amazing transformation.

This week we installed this plaque in memory of Yvonne Lowndes, former mayor of Peterborough.
Honoured to play a small part in remembering her, the plaque is installed in Central Park Peterborough outside the cafe.

Presenting this beautiful Bahama Blue granite memorial we installed in Cambridge last week.
A lot of work went into it but with results like this it was worth every second.
The stepped cover slab and shaped vase adds a lovely finish to the heart shaped headstone don't you think?

We will remember them... Proud to have been asked to make and install this marble plaque in remembrance of the men of Apethorpe who gave their life in The Great War.
It's not every day you get to install a memorial in such a grand place as Apethorpe Church, it was a real honour to play a small part in helping the memory of these brave men live on.

the service I received was very professional I found Chad to be most helpful and patient when dealing with us, we were able to describe what we wanted and chad went away and emailed us a design on what we had talked about for us to say yes or no but it was what we required so we gave him the go ahead and was pleased with the result he comes highly recommended and we are looking to plaice a further order with him

i found Chad on the website,I wanted a cremation slab for my late husband and the church where my husband is interred have strict guidelines, i wanted a picture engraved on the slab and with Chad,s help i got my wish.He copied my design and i gave him the go ahead to carve and lay the slab,My family and I are all pleased with the slab and the service Chad provided.Would definitely use his service again.
