The Old Guinea is seeking to recruit staff, waiting/bar staff and pizza chef, to join our team.
The Old Guinea is an independent, unique and busy pub/restaurant set in idyllic Hertfordshire countryside close to Potters Bar. The successful candidates will need to have very good interpersonal skills as we pride ourselves on looking after our clientele. Interpersonal skills are also required as a successful service depends on precise communication between team members. It is i...mportant that successful candidates are team-players and that they are hard-working. Enthusiasm, willingness to learn and the ability to stay focused when very busy are among the key skills we are looking for.
We have full- and part-time positions available. The Old Guinea operates two shifts a day covering seven days a week. The candidates must be flexible to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

Briilant food and friendly service as usual. Pub and restaurant have a lovely atmosphere. If you’ve never been to the Old Guinea it’s a must !!!!

Amazing! I have a few food intolerances including wheat, mushrooms and onions, so eating out can be tricky. I literally never have to worry about coming here! They do really good gluten free pizza bases and are so accommodating with their menu when I ask if they can make a meal without something. The food always tastes delicious, the views are great and the beer gardens in summer are perfect.
