Today I had one of the loveliest sunday meals I have eaten in a ling time here. Roast pork with proper crispy crackling. Plenty of veg and delicious roasties. Clare is an absolute credit to yhe pub being friendly and helpful so when we couldnt decide on desert we chose 2 and had half each in four bowls. Chocolate pudding and chocolate sauce to die for and bakewell tart and cream that was dreamy. Fantastic home cooked food brilliant value for money. A must if in the area. Will definitely go again.

My husband and I have just enjoyed a fantastic evening meal here tonight! There was a warm welcome on arrival, a delicious home cooked meal followed by a really tasty, but naughty dessert and a calm, relaxing atmosphere! A real pleasure to visit, as usual. Thankyou x

Lunch alfresco in their beautiful pub garden today.Enjoyed a perfect prawn cocktail (fresh malted grain bread with plenty of butter,correct proportion of prawns in nice dressing to mixed salad leaves)and delicious rhubarb and stem ginger crumble and cream.Washed down by a cool San Miguel.Thank you Hugo and team xx

Lovely pub with friendly staff and delicious food. Ate dinner with my daughter and had the 2-for-1 offer - very good value. Will go back when visiting her again 😊

I've been in a couple of times for food now and was never disappointed with either meals, would highly recommend coming here for lunch to anyone, the food is just beautiful.

I had a need to feed,

16+ people at short notice, and at reasonable prices to accommodate all budgets.



Hugo, Fred and the team solved my problem with ease and made us all feel very welcome. The food was all hot, delicious and very well presented. The staff were very patient and tolerant with children..



Nothing.. Was to much trouble.



We all enjoyed our meals and wished we had the time to go check out that Jazz Band which was playing in the function room.. (Perhaps Next time �)

Had a fantastic meal out for Valentine's Day last night, the food was superb, the service was great, can't fault anything, thank you for a very enjoyable evening.
