Went for the reception for brothers wedding and the staff was exceptional. They were friendly and easy to chat with, anytime we needed anything at all they went out of there way to make sure we were taken care of. A huge shout out to our waitress she was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great time and were taken care off. I can’t recommend this place enough. We came all the way from America and this was one of the highlights of the trip.

We had my daughter wedding at the swan,really did live up to what we expected,we met up with family yesterday so decided the swan was the place for us for lunch,it was a good choice on the menu in the brasserie with starters and mains,also a choice of a small portion if it was wanted rather than a large meal,and a separate dessert menu which was lovely,the service the food and the company was fantastic really would say give it a try,

I chose a burger which I don't eat to often but oh boy the flavour and quality of the beef of what seemed to be a home made burger was fantastic,nice and tasty with little to no fat or grease in it so go on treat yourself well worth every penny,

We booked the McCallum room for my fathers 80th birthday celebration lunch, the events team were brilliant throughout the process, the food was delicious and the staff attentive but not intrusive. The Cork/Underhill/Keeble families would like to thank The Swan for making this a special day.

This is just the most wonderful place for a lovely relax, especially in a heatwave! The staff are lovely & friendly; the food is amazing; and the ancient building so interesting with lots of nooks & crannies to sit, indoors or out. On arrival we were taken to our gorgeous room by Harry to find a card from the staff wishing us a Happy 50th Anniversary - what a thoughtful touch! The Weavers Spa here is just amazing, very new, modern & a real contrast to the surrounding buildings of The Swan. Again, such lovely staff - so skilled and putting us at ease with each treatment - we feel rejuvenated after all our aches & pains being eased away with lots of fun conversations! Can recommend Tegan, Louise & Georgina for wonderful treatments! The warm bubble pool is excellent and the heated massage beds so comfortable with arm rests too - wanted to take one home! Can recommend wholeheartedly- have already got a possible Norfolk friend thinking about a visit plus our youngest daughter ... just a massive Thank You to all the staff we have had the pleasure to meet.

This hotel is beautiful, the staff were brilliant & couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was lovely & had a very relaxing atmosphere, the food & wine were excellent. Shame we didn’t get to use the spa as we hadn’t booked & was busy when we were there.

Taken there by our grandson and partner for a treat.We had traditional high tea ,the food was superb.The staff were very friendly and attentive.Excellent service.Would definitely recommend it and go again.They were very patient and helpful with my husband who walks very slow,offering assistance all the time.x

Our family paid for us to stay at the Swan for our ruby wedding anniversary. It is an absolutely amazing place, so beautiful. We were made to feel very welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. We could have stayed longer and enjoyed the facilities. Would highly recommend it.

My husband and I stayed here for a one night spa break and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The room and food were great and the staff are really attentive and make you feel relaxed. The hotel itself is fantastic with the quirky corridors and low door ways, loved it all and want to return ! Thank you all !

My husband and I spent a night here on 20th April as part of his birthday celebrations. It is a beautiful place and you feel totally spoilt from the moment you enter. Staff were very accommodating of my request to move rooms so that we were away from the main road. Waiting staff in the restaurant were very attentive- in fact, the quality of food and service here are top notch! My only quibble was with the way the duck was cooked. The assumption seems to be that everyone likes their meat to be pink. Even after being sent back to the kitchen to be cooked further, it still wasn’t done to my liking but I didn’t want to make another fuss! The wine we chose was fabulous and overall, it was a very special evening. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for making our stay such a pleasant experience.

My daughter and family had a meal to celebrate het 18th at the hotel. We were given a private room- fantastic service and fab food. Highly recommend xx

Just came back from here today and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Looked after from start to finish, amazing comfy bed and the location is so quiet. The food was absolutely incredible couldn't fault any of it. Thank you so much just the relaxing break we needed

I was surprised with a Birthday treat yesterday by my partner. Our stay was amazing. All the staff we spoke to were very friendly and polite. Sarah, a lovely Scottish girl and an American girl made our experience in the lounge and restaurant special. Their service was fantastic. The food was amazing in the gallery and the little Birthday touch on my dessert was very thoughtful. Our room was beautiful and so clean, we couldn't fault the hotel or the spa!!! Highly recommend and can't wait to come back. Thank you �

I had a lovely afternoon tea with my lovely mum for my birthday celebrations. It was amazing. The staff were very polite and friendly. The tea and cake and sandwiches were so so yummy. The settings were amazing and the toilets I could have stayed in all day ha. Great afternoon tea. Would highly recommend �

Had a brilliant stay with my mum and sister. Started our day in the spa, lovely intimate feel, gorgeous outside area (luckily we had good weather) and all the staff were lovely too. Great facials and massages, lots of little thoughtful extras. Then had a delicious 3course dinner in the gallery restaurant that evening, couldn't fault the food or staff. Comfortable stay overnight and then delicious breakfast this morning too with lovely staff again! Will definitely return.

As soon as my husband and I walked into The Swan we both felt comfortable and welcome. The hotel seems to have an air of relaxation despite this being a Saturday afternoon and with, we were told, a wedding party going on. The building is full of history and lots of interesting quirky corners but all comfortable and tastefully furnished. Our heritage room was amazing; historical but extremely comfortable from the huge bed down to the toiletries in the bathroom supplied by the Weaver spa. We utilised the spa facilities in the afternoon which got our weekend off to a relaxing start. Dinner in the evening was in the wonderful Gallery restaurant and the quality of the food matched the surroundings, it was of a high standard and delicious. The service was friendly and welcoming but equally professional. Breakfast in the morning was of the same standard and also delicious. The staff throughout our stay were always helpful and very friendly. We cannot fault this hotel at all and can only say we both agree The Swan is the best hotel we have ever had the pleasure to stay in.

Amazing afternoon tea yesterday. The staff made us feel so special and the sandwiches, cakes and tea were the best I’ve ever tasted.

Absolutely amazing!! Easy parking at the rear of the hotel, all the staff we spoke to friendly, helpful and attentive. When we got to our room(9) the staff had left me a birthday card which was a very nice touch. The spa is well worth a visit, Sophie was brilliant and I enjoyed my time spent in the sauna, steam room and outdoor jacuzzi. The evening meal in the main restaurant was first class.

Lack of answer to an email enquiry and a brusque receptionist took the edge off an otherwise excellent stay. All other staff we interacted with were very polite and friendly. Weavers spa is wonderfully relaxing.

Great lunch (£27.95pp for 2 course meal)

A little more on the plate would have been nice, but not complaining.
