The Three Horseshoes - Goulceby Description

Located in the Lincolnshire Wolds village of Goulceby the Three Horseshoes is a business like no other.

We are a pub, campsite, glamping business and also unique wedding venue. The business has been built to create a relaxed and welcoming type of pub. We hope you find us an easy going type of place where you can relax and enjoy our home cooked pub food, fantastic homemade pizzas amidst a beautiful setting.

From the ashes of a derelict and deserted pub our village now has a vibrant rural pub sustained by our diversity in what we do and the mix of people we therefore attract. As hands on business owners we are proud to have created the friendly, personal and diverse pub business we are today.

We would love for you to come and join our excellent regulars, growing local community and the increasing number of visitors who are lucky enough to discover the Three Horseshoes and the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Facebook ... so what happens when something goes wrong? A help centre that regurgitates generic messages and gives no help. Amazing that a global business is completely uncontactable. Amazing that a global business can take money from its advertisers but cannot be contacted when a problem occurs. A situation so bad that it creates an environment where countless scams can proliferate just by offering hope of some telephone/email/letter contact service.
Anyway - our facebook... page has some admin issues. It sits in a cyberspace where its former administrators cannot administer it. That's me by the way.
Is my only solution is to create a new page (although I can't delete this one) and hope that everyone likes that instead. Or is it to bin facebook as a marketing tool although I can't deny its power and would rather not.
Shame on you Facebook. Where are you? #PleaseContactMeFacebook.
That's it my pithy effort and rant to start a social media campaign against the social media platform that is very antisocial.

Thinking of armistice day and the service at our local church today and the efforts by our people to remember the sacrifice made before them. We have a duty to learn where division gets us and be grateful for peace.

The Three Horseshoes, Goulceby is a countryside pub in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds. We are also a campsite, glamping retreat, occassional wedding venue and village shop! Our accommodation is near Cadwell Park racing circuit in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB. We are midway between the neaby market towns of Louth and Horncastle and about 20 miles from the sandy Lincolnshire coast and the Cathedral city of Lincoln. http://www.the3horseshoes.com

Wow what a fabulous venue for our Wedfest weekend 8-10th June 2018!

The accommodation is excellent, we booked the whole campsite including all the glamping pods which were very clean and beautiful decorated. Ian, Denise, Carol and the rest of the team were brilliant very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the whole day was very well organised.

We would like to say a massive thank you to you all at The Three Horseshoes for helping to make our day so amazing.

User

We had the most wonderful time at the Three Horseshoes. We stayed in the Lilly Pod we booked for one night and loved it so much that we extended our stay by 2 extra nights. The food was delicious, the owners and staff we're so lovely and welcoming. Our children loved it and there was lots for them to do. The accommodation was lovely and clean, very spacious. Couldn't have asked for a more wonderful stay and we will definitely be returning!! Thank you so much for a lovely time.

User

We had our wedding reception here and it was fantastic. I could spout rhetoric about the fantastic staff, food and camping conditions but it wouldn't do them justice.

Trust them to allow you to enjoy yourself, eat well and generally be merry. I'll happily accept any personal messages if anyone requires a recommendation. To keep it simple, it is amazing: great food, company and location. If you need any more from a country pub then they'll probably find a way to provide it!

User

We had an amazing few days here over the lovely sunny bank holiday. Amazing well kept flat Camping field with great views (my son loved looking at the cows in the morning). The pub did great food and the facilities were spotless. I’d never thought to visit this part of the world before but truly loved it and will be back!

User

We camped here Easter weekend... it was wet, muddy and cold but we had the best family time. The pub was fab and people were friendly. Showers clean and warm too. Would highly recommend.

User

This is the second time we have camped at the Three Horseshoes last time was around 5 years ago. It is a small dog friendly site with friendly owners and clean facilities plus a nice pub on site....bonus. Can't recommend this place enough really enjoyed it. Thanks from Alex and Paula.

User

Stayed here Saturday night on the hard stand. Great with a very warm welcome buy the owners, locals and log burner. Shown round the facilities then had a few drinks and pizza in the bar. Excellent quality and value for money. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Good clean bathrooms. Would definitely recommend the Three Horse as both a pub and camping. Area very pretty too.

User

Stayed for one night lovely place, really clean. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Sunday lunch is fantastic. Defiantly recommend would go back!

User

Nice little campsite in the heart of the countryside. Glamping area looked lovely and well looked after....gonna have to try a star tent on our next visit. Pub on site, food looked amazing although we didn't eat there on this trip as we had already made other plans.

User

My partner and I stayed here in our campervan with our two dogs. Great site and facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Some lovely walks in the area, we walked along the Viking way to a nearby village. Awesome stone baked pizza on the Saturday. A great local site, will definitely visit again.

User

User

Lovely little place! Camped out for one night. The field we camped in was very well kept with picturesque scenery surrounding. Excellent facilities- very clean toilets and showers. Had some drinks and a meal in the pub, delicious food- the homemade pizzas are gorgeous. The on site shop has a good selection of everything you might need for your stay, which is very handy to have so close. Excellent customer service throughout our stay. Many thanks :) we'll be planning to come back again!

User

Lovely campsite, so peaceful with great countryside views. We spent 3 nights here camping last weekend. There are a range of walks straight from the campsite, a small shop and a beautiful pub on site. We had a couple of very tasty meals in the pub and enjoyed a three hour walk seeing the local area. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

User

Last year we came with a party of six of us on the campsite, we had a fabulous time. There was ample space for the children to play where our pitch was and everyone was so friendly who camped nearby. We loved the burner but did not order till late at night, but nothing was to much trouble for the gent behind the bar (sorry I forgot his name), I know he was not the owner, but he was very welcoming, friendly and could not do enough for us. I have recently booked to come glamping in one of your luxury pods beginning of march, then again camping in the summer with a party of us. Cannot wait #campinglife. Thankyou to all of you

User

Just spent a fabulous week at The Three Horseshoes and had a fantastic holiday there. Facilities are excellent, food is delicious and the staff are lovely. This site is ideal for families as it is so safe for children and I can thoroughly recommend it. Already looking forward to our next holiday there x

User

Just enjoyed a great weekend at the Horseshoes...Fab accommodation, we had the Alfie Arch Pod...just right for three. Lovely outlook and scenery, and a great little pub serving good food right on your doorstep. Unfortunately we did not get to meet Ian and Denise this time but the two guys who looked after us are a credit to them both; very friendly, very helpful and gave great advice about the local area. We met some lovely people who regularly come over from a nearby village to use the pub...says it all really! Will definitely be back...and and we highly recommend a stay. Looking forward to coming back soon ;o)

User

I’ve just had the best weekend camping with the ZeroDegrees Chorus at the Three Horseshoes; a lovely venue in a gorgeous setting, the staff coped very well with our tendency to sing a Capella at the drop of a hat and our takeover of the campsite and the bar, and fed us really well on Saturday night and Sunday lunch. The veggie options were yummy by the way so thanks....we are already thinking about next year

User

Fabulous Sunday lunch today. We took my Dad and Stepmum for a birthday lunch. Such a warm welcome, delicious carvery with so much choice, cooked beautifully and great homemade desserts too. It was busy - and I'm pleased I booked in advance! Thanks very much for looking after us so well. We will be back soon! x
