We were really chuffed that The Three Horseshoes were able to do us a vegan Sunday roast today. We've just moved to the area, and we're pleased that this is our new local :-) I hope to see options added to the menu. I'll be sure to pass this onto the Herts Vegan group.

We recently held our wedding reception in The Stables. We had an amazing day, Megan and her team were great, and everyone commented on how good the food was. Thanks for your support leading up to the wedding and the professional service on the day. Would definitely recommend.

We hired The Stables for our wedding reception last month. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Megan was amazing and guided us through the planning process. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic. All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. Would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

We had our wedding reception in the Stables. We highly recommend this venue for any sort of private party. The cost of hire was reasonable and there was a variety of food options. The staff were friendly and made sure the evening ran smoothly. We had access to the venue the day before so we could decorate it and the next day the staff had taken down all the decorations ready for us to collect. Truly wonderful venue.

We had an absolutely lovely time and enjoyed a very delicious Christmas dinner. The staff worked so hard and we really appreciated their efforts.

I would award 6 stars and highly recommend The Three Horseshoes.

The best pub, the best staff, the best entertainment, the best food and drink around! You will not be disappointed.

It’s been taken over and quality of food has dropped.

Lovely location, good parking, awesome decor, really friendly staffing team, the food was also amazing too! Eat out frequently in many different locations and areas, this place definitely impressed me. I live 25 miles away and this would be a great destination venue, we were a walk-in during a very busy Friday evening service and nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely cozy pub. Me and my friend went there for a Sunday lunch and it was great. The variety of dishes on the menu was impressive and also very tasty! The roaring fire was an added bonus! Friendly, polite and helpful staff. I was a very happy bunny! Definately be returning!

It was my first time eating here. I arrived 15 minutes before the kitchen opened but was sat at a table and given a menu straight away. I’ve never had such a big portion of a toad in the hole and it tasted brilliant. I would recommend to anyone!!

Fantastic location for a wedding reception, hall was of a great size and the staff were really helpful from the start with us setting up and all throughout the evening. Lovely outside area to sit and relax in and get some fresh air.

Excellent fresh food. Really good starters and fantasy main dish. Really impressed.

Staff were excellent and presented food and drinks really well, and remembered one of our group had an allergy. Best pub food in the area by far...

Booked in for Sunday lunch arrived early and had a drink in the garden lovely and peaceful.

.sunday lunch was the roast beef really lovely meat perfect veg perfect with a great Yorkie and hot.

Not enjoyed a sunday lunch out that much in ages . The desert was very good as well. Staff were excellent just couldnt fault it. Lovely place on my experience would thoroughlyrecommend it.

Absolutely amazing food we shared both the chilli and pulled pork nachos for starters witch where amazing and all are mains where full of flavour and super delicious and desserts where to Die for could not fault food and was a lovely relaxed atmosphere will be recommending �

14 of us went for my sisters birthday lunch she was 70 so the age range was from seventies down to 1 year old. The food was excellent with nice time lapses between courses some might complain about that but it gave us time to chat as we don't meet up very often. The yorkie puds wow.

My friend and I took my mum for lunch all had liver and bacon. Liver so undercooked mash was awful mixed with almost raw carrots. As a good will gesture my mum was offered a free desert!! Her meal should have been deducted from the bill she didn't eat any of it and free desert should have been given as the good will gesture. Totally spoilt a nice afternoon for all of us. We won't go back.

Attended this place on Saturday night booked table!! 7.30 ... the food took over an hour to turn up and so did the desert!! The burger was dripping in fat this was not a 100 well spent.. staff were pleasant enough .

9 adults and 1 baby went last Sunday 28th February for my birthday. Service was painfully slow. Only about 5-6 tables in use so wasn't as if they were rushed off their feet. Had to change my order 3 times and my sons once as they had ran out (fair enough but frustrating). Table booked for 4.30pm had to go and ask at 5pm if they would come and take our order. Starters came around 5.20pm and thankfully mains wasn't too much longer. But to be honest it was embarrassing they could see and no doubt hear us complaining but even if they couldn't it was so obvious it was so slow but there was no apology. If it was slow because of maybe one chef down or something then that's fine but communicate with people. Food was alright minus the rock hard Yorkshire pudding. Didn't complain at the time as by 6.30 when we left my son was restless for bed which is why I booked it 4.30pm! Won't be going back.

Oh dear what a disappointment. The staff have no idea about catering or hospitality. Expensive, bland food. Neither served hot, or with enough fillings. No cutlery or condiments until we reminded the staff and all pretty basic stuff really. Then the icing on the cake was the gone off mildew milk clumps floating on the top of my friends cup of tea. And out of the kindness of her heart, the staff member said "don't worry, I won't charge you for it" !!!

Unbelievable and quite frankly, laughable. The Three Horseshoes Team .... may I suggest if you read this, you get professional cooks and management in , to run the lovely pub properly. Otherwise give up and hope you win the lottery. Cos a fortune you ain't gonna make. A total non customer focussed team together with bland,expensive food ��

In fairness I've eaten here before and had a really pleasant experience. However, last night was a different story entirely.



A bit disappointed and quite annoyed, Your website says that you serve food until 9pm. It feels like every ten minutes I get an email from you banging on about your Thursday Gourmet Burger night. We hotfooted it back from a late business meeting last night, zapped across to you arriving at 8.55pm.....thinking, "phew, made it"...a couple of pints and a "gourmet" burger for two people will go down very nicely thank you. Only to be told, "sorry, we stopped food about five minutes ago." Either it's 9pm or it's not. If it's 8.50pm then say so. So, you lost two customers, and the drinks and food that we would have purchased. Luckily we found a somewhat more accommodating place not too far from you. I guess they have a different attitude to customer service than your staff. You are lucky to be so busy that two lost & disgruntled customers don't matter to you.
