Well what more can I say than Smashing Super Great. From your next door neighbour you have gone from Zero 2 Hero tonight. Great front of house service to exceptional food. This has perfect night out written all over it. Staff are attentive and helpful. Food is fantastic and with those new pizzas. Wow. The Base is just right and the toppings are mouthwatering.

Recently refurbed, great room with breakfast included ~ lovely menu, kind and helpful staff, couldn’t fault it �

I would recommend this venue to anyone. Not only did we have one of the best stays, the rooms and restaurant and food was of highest quality. My children loved their stay and breakfast and all the staff were so polite cheery and helpful. We would definitely stay again and have already looked into the events they hold such as the August bank holiday hog roast and kids activities for only £7.50 each and under 16,s go free. Great value.

I think the new(ish) owners have done a fantastic job with The White Hart. I am in regularly for meetings as well as for drinks and I think the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is great - I recommend the pollo piccante, the Eggs Benedict and the new pizzas. It is a great asset to our town and is streets ahead of its former incarnation.

Had such a lovely stay this weekend. The room was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was included in the room and you could order anything from the main restaurant menu which was such a nice surprise. The room had a nespresso machine and really nice bath. Very quaint yet modern. Will definitely stay again. We had a day at the aqua Sana spa at woburn forest centreparcs and stayed here the night before instead as it was much cheaper than staying at the spa and we are so very glad we did as it had so much character.

Had a great nights stay here. Room was lovely and very clean!! There were lots of bathroom accessories supplied and even hair straighteners in the room as well as the usual hair dryer!! The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were really nice too, which is always a big plus as far as I’m concerned.



All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really lovely which topped off a great stay! Would definitely recommend!

Great food with decent sized portions, friendly smiling staff and a warm atmosphere. Can recommend the pizzas. The bar area can be busy but I prefer that to dead quiet. Always a pleasure to visit

Fab New Year's Eve dinner, great service tom attentive team. Photo booth was a hit, DJ in the stables not great, music in main bar much better. Thanks white hart team.

We have been there few times already and always we have had delicious meals. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

I'm glad that we can take our dog there as well. Only one downside - once we pre-booked the table and we mentioned that we will come with a dog, but the person in charge of seating didn't reserve a table for us, so we were only lucky that one couple was leaving, so we could sit down. Otherwise can't fault the place and staff!

Stayed here for a night before going to Millbrook Proving Ground. Great little hotel. Really nice rooms, nice bar and really nice food. The breakfast in was really good as well and they very kindly prepared this for us a little earlier so we could leave on time. The only small gripe was that i stayed in Room No 3 which has the pubs sign right outside the window. The light on this sign is very very bright and the curtains just didnt shut out the light enough. Maybe you guys could turn the light off at night? Or put a blind on this window. Would have been 5 stars plus but for the light. Sorry!!!

Nice hotel, lovely room and trendy bar, however we stayed in room 4 which unfortunately had outdoor seating outside our bedroom window and the bar directly below, which meant we could hear everyone’s conversations and music blasting well into the early hours, would suggest double glazing and sound proofing for guests staying over in the hotel. Would come back for drinks but not to stay over

Yesterday evening myself and 5 others came in for a meal. 5 dishes out of the 6 were delicious, however it took 3 attempts to cook the 6th dish. A salmon salad, the salmon was served raw in the middle several times by the time the meal was corrected everyone else had finished eating. Not a massive deal we paid our bill over £200 and even left a tip (was a little disappointed that they hadn't taken the salmon dish off but hey ho!)

We then went in to the bar for drinks, I ordered 2 champagne cocktails and a gin £25. I took one sip of my champagne cocktail and it was too sweet for my liking so I politely asked the bar maid to top the glass up with a little champagne. The barmaid completely refused and a further two men one being the manager come over to continuing arguing with me (I'm sure the customer is always right!)

Place is beautiful- very very expensive though. Waiter was incredible. Risotto lacked depth of flavour but it was okay. £15.50 for a dish I want it to be really good 🤷🏼‍♀️ Would defo re visit for another try though.

When you walk in, the place looks really nice and homely, so we were there for breakfast, 5 of us, we all ordered at the same time, hot drinks as well, the food came out all at seperate times, so we were eating before the others got there's, as for the hot drinks, the hot chocolate was very powdery and had to be returned, they were all bought out at different times, I had tea, was like dish water, and when the tea pot arrived, the spout was chipped off, should never of been served, returned it, only to wait again when everybody was ready to leave, the tables were sticky, unfortunately will not be going back, as to look at the place it could be so much better, oh and for the service and the food it was way over priced, gave a 2* for the decor, and a zero for the food and service

Hugely disappointing Christmas dinner (@ £79pp not inc. drinks): Shunted out to the back stables (which was cold and lacking in atmosphere), some of us had a deconstructed prawn cocktail (canapé size) for a starter, while the others were given a piece of brown bread with garlic butter and just 2 pieces of calamari!!), no sauce with a slab of tough steak (which prompted an argument from the male waiter who could not see any problem at all). We asked for some bread as the starter was so small - was told there was "no spare bread left as it was all accounted for". Seriously!!! £79 per head without drinks - the entire bill for 3 adults and 4 children WITH wine was nearer £420 - should at least get you a coffee and, perhaps, a glass of 'fizz' on arrival, especially at Christmas. But nothing. The two female waitresses were excellent and seemed embarrassed by it all. The male waiter came out later and apologised and admitted we had good cause to complain ... but not even the offer a free drink as a gesture. This is Michelin Star-prices but it was all so half-hearted. We left so disappointed and feeling we had been conned frankly. Never again.

Really rude bar staff. Especially the young girl with the sharp job. They didn’t have the ingredients for a salted caramel martini so we asked if they could substitute an ingredient and they couldn’t. Slammed the drink on the bar and snarled ‘enjoy’. Won’t be rushing back here again.
