Our new Fruit Gin Liqueur Snifter Sets have just hit the shelves in the Tiptree Jam Shop.
A mini gin plus a wee snifter sized sipping jar...
A snifter is a 'small quantity of an alcoholic drink'
... Small things can make a big difference. Our Little Scarlet strawberries are tiny berries with a BIG taste, we cook our jam in small batches in traditional copper - bottomed pans, and we LOVE seeing how the small slogans in our jam lids bring a smile to peoples faces...
For your chance to WIN a set of all four of these Fruit Gin Liqueur Snifter Sets, please answer the below question by commenting below;
Please tell us about a 'small action' which you have taken which has made a 'big difference'.....
We will randomly pick a winner on Thursday 6th September
All answers above board and Over 18s only please

Hi All, Thank you all for your comments on our competition where we asked you where you would fly the 'Tiptree Balloon' We very much enjoyed reading these as they came through. We are now, however, mortified and need to apologise as we went to pick the winner of our competition and the whole post has disappeared! We had used an external video link (with permission) which strangely seems to have now disappeared. The fairest way for us to pick a winner is to run the competitio...n again, but this time, learning our lesson and not using a video clip, but instead a photo which we have kindly been given by Martin. This photo was taken at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta. For your chance to win a Tiptree Hamper, please comment your answer below to this question:
Where would you fly the Tiptree Balloon?
Thank you all for your patience, and once again please accept our apologies, we hope that you can be as creative a second time around.
We will pick a winner on Weds 29th August and will be keeping an eye that this stays put!
Over 18s only please

'The Perfect Serve'
We hope that you are keeping cool in this weather ☀️and enjoying the tennis 🎾.
For a rather fruity Gin Spritzer, fill a large chilled glass with strawberries and ice, add a measure or two of Tiptree Fruit Gin Liqueur and finally top up with your favourite mixer 🍓

There's still plenty of time for you to enjoy a Cream Tea! #NationalCreamTeaDay

User

On National Cream Tea Day we wondered which beverage you enjoy with your cream tea?
Tea, coffee? Maybe Gin or a glass of bubbles?
Let us know!

User

As it is #NationalCreamTeaDay which flavour jam will you be using?

User

Tiptree preserves are made the traditional way, with real fruit (and plenty of it!) and are far nicer than the over-sweet artificial 'jams' you find on the supermarket shelves. Well worth paying a little extra for.

I was lucky enough to win a large Christmas pudding one year & we ate the lot - gorgeous.

If you find yourself anywhere near Tiptree, drop in for tea & some of the nicest cakes you'll ever find.

They are the best supplier in East Anglia of Jams, Gins and much much more

The best jams in the world, the best lemon curd, you have to try it, and wonderful tea rooms, plus all local, love love love this company

Thank you, thank you, thank you! For years I've struggled to find a chocolate spread that isn't going to set off my nut allergy (sadly it's life threatening). Even where chocolate spreads don't have nuts listed in the ingredients, because they are made in a factory that uses nuts they set me off, until now. This chocolate spread is amazing, even more so because I can be safe in the knowledge that I can eat it without worrying about needing to grab my anti-histamines or epi-pen. Absolutely unreal on crumpets!

User

Thank you to the staff at the Lordship Tearoom on Easter Sunday for our pre-booked three course lunch for 14 of us ,celebrating my 60 th birthday.Excellent food and excellent friendly, helpful and attentive service.

User

Thank you so much for creating the Chocolate Spread which is safe for nut allergy sufferers. You have made my family very very happy and it has been used in puddings, pastries, on toast and occasionally just from the spoon...and it is now an established item on our food shopping list. Many many thanks.

User

Really the best jams, jellies and marmalades, lemon curd ever! Apricot and armagnac, sweet tip raspberry, black currant, quince, tawny orange thick cut marmalade, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, and many more! :-)

User

My daughter and I, love your jams, marmalade and honey range! We've purchased the tasting pots ... I'm so impressed. Great packaging, unique tastes and good quality products. Looking forward to sampling your savory tasting pots. A pity you don't have a tearoom in London. My daughter was excited as she thought your "Bond Street" branch was in central London! 😂

User

It’s a lovely village, but they are rules! As of last night one of them is, don’t have a takeaway from anywhere else than Tiptree and for heavens sake don’t pass comment and say you like it! 🤪

User

I just have to say it: You guys make the best sauces ever. The Hot Mango Sauce is my favourite though. Thanks for that and keep up the great work!

User

Has to be the best jam in the world. I'm originally from Essex and now living in the south west, so every time I go home I always pick some up.

Keep up the excellent work Tiptree!

Ordered some personalized mini jars for our wedding favors and a couple of regular items just for general eating. Our mini jars arrived beautiful but without the other items :(, one quick email and they were here next day. Brilliant service lovely products and I like the added touch of paper confetti placed in with our mini jars, added to the fun excited wedding feel.

I've lived in Tiptree getting on for 8 years and found it a pretty damn good place to live. It's not chocolate box pretty like Coggeshall or Lavenham, but it's well equipped, has a number of wonderful small shops and businesses (the jam factory of course, a great butcher in Millins, the best hardware store you're likely to find, a great art shop etc.), is 2 minutes drive into open country in any direction and is a friendly place to live. Connections are not bad - Colchester and Chelmsford not far, station at Kelvedon and London Liverpool Street a mere 50 minutes away. It's also a safe place to live and low crime levels. I worry that building more houses will stretch resources, notably at the medical centre, but I'd certainly recommend people to look at it if you want a quiet and tranquil small town close to countryside.

User

A lovely village with plenty of 'ideal' shops. We have started going here about once a month to get our meat from Millins and have some lunch in the cafe next door.

User

Really disappointing visit to Tiptree tea rooms in Bond St Chelmsford today ,we arrived at 11am ordered Hot chocolates with cream and were told they had run out of cream (tescos is just across the road) the lady 2 tables along from us ordered after us and ordered the same she got served before us with fresh cream on her hot chocolate . One of us ordered a tea cake which arrived well after we had finished our drinks . The tea room was not full to capacity but service was very slow . Sadly will not be inclined to return ,not the festive treat we had hoped.

User

As we normally go to tiptree thought we would try their place in Chelmsford...mmmmm went in and got seated, given menus..then waited over 15 minutes for order to be taken while in the mean time staff wondering around seating people and cleaning tables...but still no order taken...so we left.can safely say we will stick to tiptree now.

User

Went today to the saffron Walden tea room for my partner's parents Christmas present. Got there at 12.45pm. Paid at 12.55pm for 2 afternoon teas and a pasta for my daughter. Was told it would be a 30 minute wait. Receive tea which was Luke warm at best and waited around 1 hour to receive dry/hard sandwiches which tasted like they had been sitting around. Also complained as the bread has slight green marks on the bread which could been mould. To be fair they were remade. Overall it was a disappointing experience for my partner's parents who were looking forward for this Wilkins afternoon tea.

User

Today we visited your Cressing Temple barns tea room ,we where very disappointed!!! we had afternoon tea the cakes where stale and for the amount you got for £15 each was ridiculous, very disappointed as visited there for my aunties birthday !!

User

Seriously!! 66g sugar per 100g strawberry jam. Come on!! You can do better than that! I live in Norway and can get hold of jam with no sugar that tastes better.
