I loved creating Kayleigh and Karl's unique wedding ceremony. I even made the personalised unity candle set as a little gift to them! They chose a vintage rockabilly sailor jerry theme in red white and blue and it worked perfectly by the seaside at East Quay Venue in Whistable! ūüíėūü§ĶūüĎįūüēĮÔłŹ‚öď

I've just received a booking for a Twilight Wedding Ceremony at The BarnYard for next March! <3 My super couple are holidaying in Jamaica in February, and whilst there, will become legally married, just the two of them. The final week of July was scorchingly hot, wasn't it?ūüĆ°ÔłŹūüĆě‚ėÄÔłŹūüē∂ÔłŹ This couple and their mates worked sooo hard ūüí™ setting up a blank canvas venue near Petham for days before their wedding festival. ūüé™ūüéČūüíě
Kim had personally created metres of personalised bunting and crafted all sorts of pretty wedding decor herself, it was a labour of love and it all looked just spectacular. ūü§©ūüėć
... What they weren't expecting was a deluge of rain of biblical proportions on the actual wedding day itself, and as Plan B was swiftly put into action, their planned outdoor wedding ceremony was held very successfully in the decorated marquee ... not only that, but it actually helped bring people together!!‚õąÔłŹ‚ėĒ ūüí¶ūüíÉūüēļūüé§ūüéĶ
I was so touched to receive this text from Kim a couple of days later:
"Well that was just so amazing! Katie so many people said that was the best wedding ceremony they had ever seen and apparently so many people and the men cried.
And I have to totally agree. You were incredible. I loved hearing you tell our story. So touched by how amazing you were.
And it worked so so well inside, in fact everyone said it was probably better that it was all inside because it kept people together.

It's been almost a month since I helped Julia and Tim with their Wedding held "back home" at Julia's parents' beautiful property in the Wye Valley.
Their personal wedding ceremony was held in her parents' huge whitewashed beamed barn, followed by a drinks reception and traditional English afternoon tea served in the immaculate gardens; guests then moved to the cool of the giant hat tipis set up for speeches, delicious evening food and dancing!
This couple are now back in Pert...h, Western Australia where they live and work, but were so kind to leave a lovely 5 star review on my page.
