Tynemouth Scouts Youth Team

The role is to ensure that young people from 6 – 25 years are involved and engaged in every decision that shapes their Scouting experience locally

I am delighted to have been appointed as the first District Youth Commissioner for Tynemouth District Scouts.

Working alongside me I have Daniel Thirlaway and Chris Selby as deputies to ensure a more youth shaped movement is created in Tynemouth.

Our aim is to ensure Scouting is being shaped by the young people in partnership with adults in Tynemouth District. It’s about giving our young people a say in their adventures to benefit them in later life, both inside and outside of Scouting.
