Once again we're ready to say goodbye to summer for another year. Autumn is one of our favourite times of year and as always, the Nursery and Cafe will be bursting with beautiful colours, fruits and foliage hung from every nook and cranny.
... Back in 2018 by popular demand (for adults and families!), join us on Thursday 25th October at Urban Jungle Suffolk and Friday 26th October at Urban Jungle Norfolk and Jazz up your Jungle Pumpkin.
For £5, we'll provide the pumpkins, paints and accessories, and Clare E Fairy will be on hand to help design and decorate beautiful pumpkin centrepieces for your home and garden.
Fancy dress is encouraged and there will be scrumptious seasonal specials and hot warming drinks on the Cafe menu too.

Last Sunday we held our first ever Cactus and Chilli festival and in light of the torrential downpour we deferred to ‘Plan B’.
We moved the chillies, cacti, DJ, band, BBQ, cocktails and stall holders indoors and undercover at the very last minute, and it was one hell of a party.
... We’d like to thank all of our extremely hardworking staff for never giving less than 100%, and remaining fabulously flexible throughout.
We would also like to thank our incredible customers for getting close and cosy indoors, and staying patient with us on an overwhelmingly busy day.
Here’s to next year’s August Bank Holiday festival. Now we know how much you all love cacti and chillies we’re already planning to make it far bigger and better. Register your interest early...

The most incredible spikes have arrived this afternoon in preparation for Sunday’s festival, all labelled and ready for new homes.
These cacti have been lovingly propagated and grown by a small, family business that has been running for over 40 years and the success is owed to the care and effort made in understanding each and every plant.
This level of quality and real expertise is so rare now, so why not make the trip and make the most of proper plants at Urban Jungle.

It started off slow as a seller but now the public have really embraced the war on plastic and every single day these are a strong seller. Topped with grit and planted in John Innes no 3 with added vermiculite they look amazeballs. Particularly proud because all of these were planted by our wonderful volunteers. About 8,000 pots filled with dozens of different succulents. Thank you guys and high five.” #waronplasticpots

Preparations are heating up for this Sunday's Cactus and Chilli Festival Opening Party...
Chilli guru and Propagation Manager Niamh will be available at her stall with a selection of beautiful Chilli plants. Some incredibly unusual varieties have been nurtured from seed in the Jungle and are now full of chillies and ready to buy.
Niamh will be harvesting a mixed selection of our wide range of own home-grown chillies to 'Pick-and-Mix'. (Available to buy on Sunday only)

This Sunday at Urban Jungle Suffolk, Rene Alvarez Y Su Cuban Combination will be opening the Cactus and Chilli Festival Week!
Born in Cuba, Rene Alvarez rose to fame and has performed at Glastonbury, The National Theatre as well as regular gigs at Norwich Arts Centre and CopaCubana.
DJ Chilli from Midday, Live Music with the Cuban Combination from 2.30.

We cant believe it was nearly 2 weeks ago since our first Terrarium Workshop at Urban Jungle Suffolk.
