So how is this even posssible? Two years ago we opened the shop and a High Street shop, that’s not bad going these days! It’s been harder than I ever imagined, but I’ve enjoyed every second! Well, apart from my aching bones!!

An exciting meeting going through ideas for two rooms in clients house. We are sourcing new furniture, lamps and mirrors and adding vintage finishing touches. We offer a complimentary house or site visit so if you are planning a revamp, a renovation or a new build, we would be delighted to hear about your plans.

Last night was a challenge! With late deliveries and so much do, but we did it! 🎉Thanks to everyone who came, including all my lovely friends from further away.
I’m not sure what I’m going back to today! I think the glitter ball is still up, but these drinks have been drained! They need to be replaced with vats of caffeine!

I’m not going to write each day on FB as it’s obviously an IG challenge, but I thought this was a good one to share!
Day Three/ The Experience
Quite a timely subject heading as I have just spent the last 13 hours restyling the shop for an event tomorrow evening. Making everything look the best it can for my customers and potential clients. Even if the client is myself in this case, I prepare moodboards and Pinterest boards of how I would like the space to look. I then start f...rom scratch, taking everything away first before building the layers back up. Thinking about each piece of furniture or homeware, is it necessary, does it add anything to look or is it just there because I already have it? I never persuade customers to buy anything if I don’t think it will be right and I often talk them out of buying things! This obviously doesn’t make financial sense to my business initially, but I know their room will look better without it and that inturn will make a happier client.
So in essence, it’s my attention to detail and making sure everything looks as perfect as it can, that hopefully makes the experience working with me a happy one!
