User

lovely pool, babies pool and learners, lovely garden to sit in, plenty of seating and coffee and hot/cold snacks available. Very well kept, really clean and a pleasure to be there. Also for kids a small adventure area with fencing for their safely

User

We were pleasantly surprised when arrived. The outside looked well kept. Inside was also well looked after. There is a huge adult pool, big children's pool which is just over a meter deep all the way. (Perfect for my 5 year old). And a good size paddle pool for toddlers.

We arrived at about 10am, to find the pool and surrounding seating/sunbathing areas empty. We stayed till about 2ish when things were getting more busy but still not packed.

We are chips while we were there from the food kiosk which were lovely. Good range of food and drink available. We'd visit again.

User

The only drawback was that the Cafe/Snack Bar closed at 4pm! Why, when the Lido is open til 7pm? Also why not open til 8 or even 9. After all we at the longest hours of daylight. You could've made a fortune. Also why close the Lido when the kids go back to school? We also get some lovely weather in September. Ok had my say

The lido is our staple family day out. Great place for our daughter to enjoy the pools and a fantastic price too. It's so hard to go anywhere now that offers a full day out at such a reasonable price and with the cafe offering snacks, light meals and drinks, you really can settle in for the day. Plus the option of taking picnics helps to keep costs down and all family members catered for. All staff are attentive and having many lifeguards on watch gives a real sense of ease. Everywhere was kept clean and I witnessed staff many times throughout our visit emptying bins and keeping on top of rubbish that had been left from picnics. We also required 1st aid for a member of our party who had a fall and the staff were fully competent and looked after us so well. Overall a fabulous day that we enjoy throughout summer as much as possible. Thank you to all at Vivacity for enabling so many families to have such a great place to visit. We are so blessed to have this heritage/ iconic building maintained for us to still be able to use, the way it was intended from so many years ago.

User

Staff were awesome and were so quick to help my son out when he was struggling in the water. Thank you so much for your help. Xx

User

Perfect for the whole family

User

Lovely day out with, clean pool and clean facilities. Very reasonable priced too. Everyone seemed to be having a great day

User

Love this place. Good price for a day out for the whole family.

****I would definitely get two people on the cafe working though waiting times at busy periods is crazy. If I knew there was two people working I wouldn't bring my own food and drink. Quicker service and you'd make more money. Who else agrees?****

Beautiful swimming experience on a lovely sunny day

User

Come on in the waters fantastic. The new boilers installed over winter keeps the water temperature 26 to 28 degrees.

User

Come here regularly, queues can be a nightmare, and only one person at window, to take payments. Still really nice, water lovely and warm. Cafe on site too. Great day for all.

User

Awesome on a warm day. Huge pool, kids pool and toddler pool. Not the warmest but it the great British tradition "its lovely once you're in". Lovely to swim in sun with open sky above.

User

Over all i am impressed! The pools and changing areas are all very clean. There are plenty of lifeguards around each pool. Entry & food prices are very reasonable. Would of given 5 stars if the toilets were as clean as every where else sadly they weren’t. That said we had a great day!

User

Once inside it was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the pools and the lovely warm shower at the end. Didn't enjoy the over an hour wait to get in though, but I guess it couldn't be helped with so many visitors and not enough capacity. If this was closer to me I'd be there every day with the weather as it is at the moment. Very reasonably priced too.

User

I took my grandsons to the lido yesterday 25/7/18, what a pleasant surprise. Very clean, 8 lifeguards on the pool the only slight downside was the showers only poolside but adequate. Café was good no overflowing bins. We will be back tomorrow (weather permitting). Lucky people of Peterborough to have such a facility.

User

The water was too cold to stay in very long and the staff were unapproachable. Shame they don't know how to interact with children when asking them to prove they can swim! My very competent daughter was told to stay in the shallow end whilst her brother was given the green light, and she's the better swimmer!

User

People let it down by leaving their rubbish on the floor, fair enough there were insufficient bins but people should take their rubbish with them. Although long queues couldn't be helped on a hot day, the queues were dealt with accordingly giving out tickets to stop the queue jumpers. Sort out the issue of rubbish and provide more bins, and this would be excellent instead of good

User

It was ok, but the water was a bit cold and full with dead flies. Also it was hard to find a space to sunbathe and we had to wait at least half an hour to buy cheeseburgers... there were only two girls working , poor girls. And on the terrace there was a group of boys who just watched everyone from above and doing nothing, which was not really nice. And the toilets were not really clean by the way.

User

The paddling pool wasn't very clean, full of grass and other floating stuff? Central parks pool is way cleaner and free!! The play areas surfaces were very hot so my little one did not dare to climb on there, he also slipped and fell twice near the pool. Showers were full of black, long hair and I'm mortified to get a nail fungus as it seemed very untidy

Do not recommend to visit with small children..

Visited Yesterday, a lovely pool and surrounding area, but when visited before the Pool use to be heated to around 28 - 30, yesterday it was at 24, and was so cold you could not get In. So ended up paying to get in and not able to use the pool as it was so cold!. I hope this is going to be improved?
