There’s a new championship that’s just been announced. The Tegiwa Type R Trophy. The aim of this championship is to have all the fun of a single make championship, but without the huge build costs. This is not to say it’s cheap, however compared to other single make series the cars can be built for a fraction of the cost. We have been working closely with one of the organisers Jon over the last couple of months, supplying him with all the bits needed to get a couple of cars ...ready for a shake down at Silverstone on Monday. Hopefully it all goes well. He’s even thrown a couple of Vtec Monkeys stickers on the car which is a nice touch.

Got a few nice bits available from a DC5 we have just got in for breaking.
K20A with RBC inlet manifold, Tegiwa TB adapter plate, Karcepts fuel rail and genuine spoon oil cap. Compression checked and is 200-210psi on all cylinders. Timing chain done 500 miles ago. Mileage is 105k. Comes with full engine loom too. £2000
DC5 gearbox in great condition with a spoon 5.1 final drive. £1500
... DC5 Brembos with 2 piece floating discs, Goodrige braided lines and a couple of 3mm spacers. £650
Tegiwa 421 manifold in great condition with no flexi damage. £350
Custom made 2.5” cat back, was told solid fab but there aren’t any markings so can’t confirm. Has a dolphin tip and sounds great. £300
Set of innovative billet engine mounts. £250
Personal suede steering wheel with boss kit. Minimal wear the the wheel, looks great. £170
Set of Work Emotion 17x9 ET38 with AD08R tyres in 245/45/17. 2 wheels are mint, 2 could benefit from a refurb. £800
