Stayed over night with my wife and son and found everyone to be really friendly and welcoming, we brought our tent and found the facilities to be exceptionally clean. The club house is small but again very friendly, the entertainment on the night was really good, also good to see the east end roots behind the bar, COYIs. The following morning we took a walk around the site and it's obvious to see work is being done as we were informed it's not long been taken over, the views are beautiful so I can honestly see no reason for anyone to not want to stay at the waterside. We also visited the café for breakfast which again was also great, cooked perfectly. For £10 a night camping you can't go wrong, so much so we booked another stay before we left for this weekend, my son can't wait to return.
