Fresh from their adventures in Hong Kong, Hazel Wong and Daisy Wells return to England. But theyŌĆÖre not going straight back to school ŌĆō first theyŌĆÖre staying with DaisyŌĆÖs uncle Felix in his London flat. But when London life gets a bit too excit...ing, the girls are packed off to the Rue Theatre to face an entirely new challenge: acting. TheyŌĆÖre going to star in a production of Romeo and Juliet ŌĆō what could possibly go wrong?
But adventure has a nasty habit of catching up with the Detective Society, and it soon becomes clear there is trouble afoot at the Rue. Day 4 of our Debut Authors Panel reveal features Kelleigh Greenberg - Jephcott and her fantasic debut, "Swan Song".
A beautifully executed telling of Truman Capote's fall from grace told from the perspectives of his "swans", the society women who welcomed him into his world then ejected him so unaninimously.

Day three of our Debut Author's Panel, author reveal! Today we introduce home grown wonder, Mitch Johnson, bookseller extraordinaire and author of "Kick".
"Kick" follows Budi, a young boy growing up in Indonesia who works in a sweatshop but dreams of becoming a football star. It was endorsed by Amnesty International and has recently won the Branford Boase Award for Outstanding first publication children's writers.

Our next amazing author highlight for the upcoming Debut Authors Panel on the 3rd October is Paula Cocozza.

We especially like the children's section where there is a colouring table, and the caf├® which is well stocked, including vegan cakes and bakes from Deerly Beloved Bakery.

Very, very helpful staff. I couldn't find the book I was looking for and after searching with me, the staff member I asked headed off and found it for me. Much appreciated. Also visited the cafe - always a favourite when I'm shopping!

Thumbs up for Waterstones! Not an easy thing to host a beer tasting in a bookshop but they pulled it off. Great event, looking forward to the next :-)

Love this bustling book shop. Greeted by a lovely member of staff, went upstairs to the cafe. Omg the bloke who served me was yummy lol. Lovely comfy seats, much needed after huge shopping expedition. Went to look for a book and a member of staff got into my personal space to sort out a shelf! Not happy about that. I could feel his breath on me lol. Apart from that, awesome shop.

It's the perfect book shop and place for tea and something sweet between journeys in and out of Norwich!

I went in to the Castle Meadow shop today. When I got there I was in pain. I have a bad back and was really struggling. The muscle at the bottom of my back had totally seized up and I was in spasm. Wayne (staff) helped me and made sure I got to the Cafe ok. He even carried my bags for me. I sat down and he offered to get my drink for me. Not only did he look after me he paid for my tea. I offered the money but he refused. He then went on to check I was able to order my taxi home before he left. When I got there he had his coat on as he was going out. How often in day to day life are people prepared to put themselves out or look after another person. I was and am extremely grateful. Thank you for caring Wayne :)

Great books and a nice coffee shop (even if it is a tad expensive!)

Great book store, almost always have the titles I'm looking for, plus their coffee shop serves excellent tea and cake.

Came along for the launch of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child." The staff were lovely! They went all out and the effort they put into the event was amazing.

Best shop in Norwich. Great selection of books. I spend way too much time and money in there. Lol :)

This was the second event I have attended at Waterstones. I liked the relaxed atmosphere and love Jen Campbell's stories. It was over too quickly. It's just a shame it's a long way to come for me, especially in the dark of winter. It was also on a Monday so it clashed with choir practice - but the Waterstones event won!

Went with my daughter one evening for a reading and we were right at the back and couldn't hear very well :-( but the food and wine provided was very nice although not sure if they always provide this?
