The role is approx 16 hours per week and shifts may vary so flexibility is required across the week (Monday to Saturday). Yesterday we had Lady Mayor visit us to draw the winning raffle ticket for the lovely Remembrance Sunday cake made by our clever Baker Garry. We have raised over £400 which will be donated to our local British Legion. We are thrilled with the amount raised, so thank you to all of our wonderful customers who entered the raffle. Mrs Keen came in to collect her prize with her winning ticket, number 25.

Here at Weston’s Bakery, Gaol Lane, we have a “There but not there” silhouette. We would like people to come in and sign if you have served in the forces or if you would like to sign on behalf of a family member.... Also we are raffling this beautiful cake, made by our own very talented confectioner Garry Farthing It is a brandy soaked fruit cake with marzipan - it will keep until Christmas £1 per ticket all proceeds to go the the Poppy Appeal Raffle will be drawn 10th November 2018 3pm

We would like to apologise to all our loyal customers who on Friday and Saturday found they had to wait longer than usual for their bread, breakfast etc. This was due to the fact that we were very under staffed (through no fault of our own) and although Chris and the staff that we had worked as fast and as hard as they could, some of you were left waiting longer than we would have liked. In this case it was unavoidable and we hope this didn’t affect your visit to us too much. From all at Weston’s ❤️
