An Introduction to the Annie Sloan Method:
... Learn all the skills you need to be able to turn a tired old piece of furniture from drab to fab. You will learn a range of techniques which include colour mixing, a simple vintage look, a two-color distress finish, and colour washes. You will also be taught how to get a perfect finish with the waxes both as a protection and as a decorative finish. The morning will be spent practicing these new techniques ready to get running..or painting!
If you are eager to get started, sign up for our Studio Paint Session (see workshop below) in the afternoon to get transforming a small piece of furniture that you bring with you All the materials are included in the cost. This workshop designed to be a fun and an engaging introduction to Annie Sloan Chalk paint and all the upcycling possibilities that a bit of creativity can bring. Plus a goody bag and 10% discount on Annie Sloan Products bought on the day.
Studio Paint Session: Bring with you a small piece of furniture ie a chair, bedside table, shelf... it needs to fit in the studio with room for others!! Using our range of paints and waxes and under our guidance, continue with you newly learned knowledge and up cycle this piece with us and take home on the day
Prices: Techniques 1 workshop £65 10am-1pm Techniques 1 workshop & Studio Session £95 (bring a packed lunch!) 1.30pm-4.30pm
