Well done to the Yamaguchi Goju-Kai Squad that competed at the English EKF Kyu Grade Championships, Great results with 6 Golds, 2 Silver & 4 Bronze, placing us 6th on the medal table, well done gang.... No photo description available.

Dear Parent / Student,
We are now taking entries for our forthcoming Kumite and Slam man tournament. Registration 9.30 for a start time of 10:00 am. Venue: William Edwards School, Stifford Clays Road, Grays, Essex, RM16 3NJ.
... The cost is £15 per Kumite event £12.00 for Slam Man; The admission price is £5.00 for adults and £3.00 for children.
WKF rules will apply gumshields & mitts are compulsory, shin/instep & boots are optional.
There will be additional slam man categories where students can match their skills against a dummy opponent, bouts this will be a minute duration and WKF flag system used, this will judged by students skill level and variation of techniques.
Students (Novice to 7th kyu) that do not win a trophy or medal (joint 3rd place), will receive a participation medal.
Categories attached, you can e-mail entry or submit your entry at one of the classes.

Fantastic results today from the Club at the CHKA Open, stiff competition from Britains finest, 5th on the medal table of 40 clubs, made me a very proud coach / Shihan, all Yamaguchi Clubs did the Association proud, congratulations to all, onwards and upwards...Well done to CHKA for all the hard work in organising the successful event..

I’m starting Fitness Friday this week, the last Friday in every month the senior class will be a combat circuit, focusing on muscle, core strength & endurance, balance & flexibility, will be using equipment kick bag, skipping ropes, balance boards, resistance bands etc, training suitable for all levels.
Gi’s not required.
