What a great decision to go here yesterday lunch time. Warm and welcoming. Food portions are massive!! All cooked perfectly and hot. Nothing was a problem even melted cheese on my nieces chips for her. We joined the reward club and the colouring for kids was a great idea! Coleslaw was amazing. Would recommend and will revisit.

Went there tonight with a colleague, service was great, the food came quick and was excellent. Already booked again for tomorrow night, you won't leave this place hungry, the portion sizes are massive and for the price you pay you really can't complain.

We love the Yanke Traveller, My daughter had a birthday meal with 6 of her friends last night, a noisy bunch of 11 year olds but they had a great night and the staff were very accommodating, Thank you, I hope we didn’t disrupt the restaurant too much ��

We dine here on regular occasions, it’s always busy especially when their amazing burger deal is on.... word of warning you need to book! The staff here work effortlessly to provide a good service with an authentic American dining experience we have never had a bad meal here and they serve Miller by the bottle which is a big win in my book! Well done guys keep it up!

I’ve been a regular since I was a kid and it’s always been Brilliant and the staff are great.

Brings back Memories every time I visit.

I Love it! Every time I go back it reminds me of my childhood! Not changed one bit. Food great, service was great! Roll on next time��

Had about 45 minutes to try and get something to eat before a show , they quickly seated us and made sure our orders were taken quickly . The food was lovely and very hot ( veggie fatjitas and veggie chilli) . All staff were amazing and friendly . Thanks Yankee traveller , excellent customer service

First visit here yesterday and we will come back, portions were huge though far too many fries though and was not keen on the coleslaw very thick and creamy and not alot of veg but its personal taste. Service was very quick and staff very polite and helpful

Always go to the Yankee traveller when the beer festival is on. We always turn up on the day to see if they can accommodate us as we always never know how many of us turn up for the beer festival. They always squeeze us in and we have never had a bad meal there. Always friendly and get good service. Lovely place to go.

We have been coming here for 25 years or more and the place has not changed one bit, same decor, same food. You know exactly what to expect although to me the portions actually look bigger. Generally only have a burger as they often have good deals on for them. Have never managed to finish one so never got to try the deserts.

Very disappointed that although we had a lovely meal which was for my birthday, I found out the next morning that my mum had taken a cake in for what was supposed to be a lovely surprise but they forgot to give it to me!! My mum had promised my children that she would get a cake and only dropped it off about an hour before we were booked in. It's wasn't as if they were rushed off thier feet either. My mum went in to retrieve the cake and didn't get much of an apology, they just said they forgot! Not great customer service!

Lovely place, staff friendly, lovely big plate falls some of the prices bit high, but would go back.

Went on 8th of August. Cheesy garlic bread is excellent. Went for the mega rump and asked for medium but got well done. Service was poor as we ordered 5 garlic breads and only 4 turned up. Waitress said we only ordered 4 and had a face like a smacked arse for the rest of our service. Asked for banana toffee pie with ice cram and for it to be warmed. Came cold with cream and was impolitely informed that it can't be warmed. (Think the new young lady got it wrong as she was told quite rudely infront of is by our grumpy server. On the plus side you'll never go hungry but they must waste so much food.

It's been better in the past. Don't know if a new chef is there. Had the blue vein but no taste of cheese!! Looked like thick mayo. Bloody freezing too. Staff saying there was a leak!!! Hair in my drink � seemed only 1 waitress was working when saw different people there.

Could do with going back to how it was years ago - good food, good drink & good services

Food was amazing, but we ordered two pints Coke no ice and the drinks came in hot glasses so the drinks where horrible and warm..... the waitress wouldn't change them instead gave us another glass to pour drinks in ..... drinks still warm ....

Haven't been here in ages but came on 1st June for my daughters birthday. I had Texas Combo. Rib, Chicken and jacket potato as dry as anything. The coleslaw didn't taste right and the onion rings were soggy. Asked for a bit of BBQ sauce because of this and got charged. My daughter had salmon which was soggy on the bottom and the rice was dry and clumpy and the Mediterranean veg was like the herb pot had been tipped into it and was burnt. My niece had the children's hot dog which was dehydrated and the bun over cooked. Not very happy with this and will not return. Couldn't wait to get out. The original table we had pre booked was given to someone else and was a very tight area to seat all six of us. I'm a local to the area and feel this has gone down a lot. However Zak's in Norwich Mousehold was a lot better. If you want a good American diner stick to the one on the seafront
