Acupressure massage is based on traditional Japanese acupressure techniques of both Shiatsu and Anma which aim to stimulate acupressure points and helps to balance "Qi" or otherwise known as the flow of energy throughout the body. Acupressure promotes the free flow of "Qi" within the body as acupressure points located along the meridian lines are stimulated using relaxed pressure applied through the use of palms, fingers, thumbs and elbows. Acupressure helps to relax tense muscles, stiff joints and any back, neck and shoulder pain. It can also help conditions such as: - arthritis, sciatica, stress, depression, anxiety, headaches, Insomnia and Fatigue.
