Über Volunteers Description
Über Volunteers is committed to ensuring that students develop new skills and confidence whilst doing something incredibly worthwhile. Having seen for ourselves the critical need for passionate volunteers, we established Über Volunteers in order to improve the lives of disadvantaged children in Morocco. Our objectives are to donate funds and resources to a variety of associations and provide UK students to undertake voluntary projects.
We pride ourselves on ethical practice and are truly passionate about the work we do. Über Volunteers is unique in that we maintain personal links with both volunteers and projects and we will be with you throughout your volunteering experience. We truly believe that having you join us in Morocco this summer will undoubtedly make a difference, be it big or small, to someone else.
We look for enthusiastic students to join our partner associations each year to complete voluntary placements in Morocco over the summer! If you are wanting to travel over your summer break on a budget, we offer a varied and exciting range of projects for UK students. Throwback to sipping Moroccan tea #ÜV2016
Ramadan Mubarak! Last year our volunteers were invited by the Al Wiaam school community to break fast with them on the special night of Laylat Al Qadr during the holy month of Ramadan. We enjoyed some great tasting homemade food made by various contributors from the community. Our volunteers felt blessed to have experienced such an important event with the local community and those they have taught and worked alongside with on volunteer projects at the school. Über Volunteers would like to wish the students, staff, community and rest of the Muslim world a Happy Ramadan!

"Volunteering in Morrocco was so rewarding, but one of the many rewarding moments of them all was meeting my son IMAN! The cutest, cheerful and chubby baby at the baby orphanage. We first met and I was waiting to go and see the babies but he couldn't wait and was playing peek-a-boo in his walker behind the window. By far the most amazing thing I've ever done. It's the perfect balance between volunteering and getting the chance to explore Morocco, whether its Marrakech, the Sahara Desert or climbing Mount Toubkal. It's so rewarding, great value, and I met such great people, would definitely recommend.
