نقص السمع الحسي العصبي المفاجئ Sudden Sensorineural Hearing loss قد يصاب الشخص بفقدان سمع مفاجئ، حيث يلاحظ فقدان السمع في أذن واحدة أو في كلتا الأذنين عند الإستيقاظ من النوم، أو خلال اليوم. هذا النقصان قد ينتج عن التهاب فيروسي يصيب الأذن، او تجلط في الشعيرات الدموية المغذية للأذن الداخلية، أو نتيجة مشاكل أخرى؛ و في بعض الحالات يكون السبب غير واضح. في حالة نقصان السمع المفاجئ، يجب مراجعة أخصائي انف وأذن وحنجرة بأقرب فرصة، وذلك لتحديد نوع نقص السمع والبدء بالعلاج مباشرة. هنالك... بعض العلاجات المستخدمه عادة لهذه الحالات، ولكن يجب أخذها بأقرب فرصة (خلال ساعات من بدء المشكلة) للحصول على احتمالية أفضل لإستعادة السمع، أو جزء منه. إذا ترك الموضوع لعدة أيام أو اسابيع، فإن الدواء يصبح غير مفيد وبالتالي قد يحتاج المريض الى معينات طبية وفي بعض الحالات زراعة قوقعة. *** إذا اعجبتك المعلومة، يرجى الإعجاب والنشر. Sudden Sensorineural hearing loss can affect one ear or both ears, and the patient would notice it when he/she wakes up in the morning or during the day. This type of hearing loss could result from a viral infection of the ear, due to blood clot in the small blood vessels that supplies the inner ear, or due to some other could be serious problems; and in some cases it is idiopathic. In case of Sudden hearing loss, you should visit an ENT specialist as soon as possible, to find out the type of hearing loss and to start the treatment. Some medications are used as treatment for this hearing loss, however the soonest the treatment starts after the hearing loss (within hours after the problem starts), the better the chance is to recover hearing, or part of it.
