French Chef at home offers a bespoke French Cuisine dining experience in your own home (this time in our pub!). Yves is our private chef for the night. He is a qualified ‘chef de cuisine’ with over 25 years experience and creates authentic French dishes with Yorkshire produce.

What an awesome place this is! Absolutely loved everything about it. The beers are epic. The food looked amazing. A really nice ambience. Will definitely be going again & would recommend it to anyone.

This an excellent pub, always has a great selection of drinks and has a good atmosphere. The staff are great at helping you choose something different to what you would have normally. I've met some great people in here and the Sunday quiz is always really fun! Would highly recommend!

Popped in with my little one on the way home from nursery... was too hot to walk so sucummbed to an ice cold cider!! The staff were amazingly helpful and very kind to my little girl!! Would definitely recommend!!👍👍

Popped in while staying in Harrogate. Really good Gin Selection and at very good prices. Craft Lager selection also very good. Did not get chance to try the food but it looked and smelled great. When we were there it was Jamaican food night. Will definitely return.

Phenomenal range of drinks. Friendly bar staff, excellent atmosphere, tasty crisps ..... and the quiz on a Sunday night is well worth checking out!

Only passed through Harrogate on Thursday through the day I called in to buy some bottles the chap behind the bar was very helpful I will definitely be calling back for a night out

My local - its a great pub! Dog friendly (they even have beer for dogs!) relaxed place - you can go in your tracksuit bottoms (like I have!) or dressed up. Fab choice of wine, gin and beer - and the most amazing Jamaican street food! like the candlelit atmosphere and have heard some good musicians - what's not to like, anyone who comes to stay gets taken here!

I love this bar as apart from letting me play guitar in the corner the beers are fantastic the staff are wonderful and the whole place is perfect for a nice cosy pint or 5!! The quiz on Sundays is probably the best quiz I've ever seen too DJ Trev is superb! Well done to all

It's much cheaper than drinking in town. With it's rustic feel, open fire and some good banter from the bar staff you'll feel at home. Lots goes on here from a crazy quiz with live music to bingo involving Gin. Yes Gin!

Bought a four meal Living Social voucher otherwise would never of heard of this fabulous place. Had a super Jerk main with two sides one of which was perfectly cooked plantains. Loved the complimentary Jamaican can of beer that came with the meal. Very busy when we arrived but the chef persuaded a group to vacate their table and drink at the bar so we could sit down.

Great selection of real ale and craft keg beer plus plenty of gin choice that we must return to taste.

Service was second to none and extremely friendly, well done.

As my local, I go here quite regularly. Lovely, cosy pub with beautiful, traditional features. They always have a vast range of spirits to sample and knowledgeable staff, who are always happy to help you decide what to have if you fancy trying something different to your usual tipple. They run regular events including gin tasting evenings and a weekly pub quiz with a live music round - always good fun! Definitely recommend as an alternative to bars in the town centre.

A friend of mine visited your lovely pub and said what a great place I don't come from your way but I'm sure if I visit harrogate I will definitely pop in I'm sure I used to work for one of the owners steve many years ago when he worked up north he must be so proud of being part of a great place x

lovely pub atmosphere with great entertainment. Would like to see just one normal beer there though. Other than that can't fault it. Clean, friendly and well run.

We love you, really we do, and usually have nothing but good things to say, but last Sunday we were left disappointed.

We selected a gin that we have been wanting to try for a while, something a bit special.

We wanted to enjoy it the way the distiller would want it to be served, however, you've had a change of staff and it's clear there's a training need - serving a well crafted g&t should be what you're all about.

It should be second nature to check the garnish and tonic, don't just pour all the tonic (I had shout to stop the bar tender emptying the whole bottle in!) and get it to the customer in a way that they can appreciate the nuances.

Looking forward to a better experience next time xx
