The Air Training Corps (or Royal Air Force Air Cadets) is one of the largest youth organizations in the UK, providing a military based syllabus, for young people aged 12-20. There is no obligation to join any military service, but we do provide fantastic opportunities to grow and develop, to make better citizens. We are staffed by local volunteers (both uniformed and civilian), and are also happy for any other potential adult volunteer to help out - the rewards are fantastic!

The ATC is involved in many activities, such as sports, flying, gliding, Adventurous Training (Including Duke of Edinburgh Awards), Target Rifle Shooting, visits to MOD and military establishments, camps and many more. . .

1128 (Crosby) Squadron is one of over a thousand squadrons in the UK, and covers a catchment area including Crosby, Thornton, Waterloo and Litherland.

We parade Monday and Thursday evenings, from 1915 to 2145, and are located on Endbutt Lane, adjacent to the school playing field.
