Tuesday evening's investiture of seven Air Cadets and a blessing of the Gibson Centre, our new Squadron HQ, by Rev. Karen Bassett.

Squadron update! After a few long tough months and hard working weekends the cadets and staff have successfully moved the squadron to our new location, the Gibson Centre, Sackville Street. The cadets at 1189 have given up many weekends and worked tirelessly, they can now benefit from our new facilities and gain more fantastic opportunities here. We couldn't be happier with our building and look forward to what opportunities for 1189 lay ahead.

First Aid at Ex Vectis Discovery on the Isle of Wight has been testing for cadets and staff....

1189 Portsmouth Squadron and 1098 Gosport Squadron are down at Action Stations in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard today doing challenge the cadet activities on Action Stations BRAND NEW NINJA FORCE , Climbing walls and craft activities!
Drill displays will be at 1330 onwards today, please come down and show your support!

1189 Portsmouth Squadron will be opening the event at 10:30 and preforming drill sequences at 13:00! We have fun activities all day for all the family!

A fantastic night learning new skills of putting up 9X9 and 12X12 tents. These skills will prepare them for camp which come rain or shine the tent will have to go up. Skills like these ensure that a team can work efficiently and effectively to achieve a goal and most importantly not get soaked if it's raining!
