Well done to 1220’s Sgt Lauren Thompson and all the other cadets on the course.
On Friday 15th February we bid au revoir to FS Ewan MacRae as he reached the upper age limit for a cadet. Ewan joined the squadron in September 2012 and during his time with us has "been there done that" on just about everything including Sports, Shooting, Camps, First Aid, BTEC and Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. As an Instructor Cadet he has trained and mentored many of our newer cadets so we are pleased that it is just au revoir. Ewan will be joining us as a Civilian Instructor so continuing to make good use of his skills. To mark his cadet career he was presented with crystal glass. A tradition going back nearly 30 years.
Congratulations to Cadet Kieran Palmby on passing his Senior Cadet classification.
Still time to join 1220. Intake night is Tuesday 12th February, 7pm at our Gas Road HQ.
