Cadets on their first Air Experience Flights yesterday at RAF Benson ✈☀️ Massive thanks to 338 and 241 for your support in getting our cadets there on this busy weekend! Although a reduced allocation meant unfortunately not all got in the air, ground school and synthetic training all completed ✅ and ready to take to the skies on the next allocation. @ RAF Benson

🏅Well done to the Athletics Team who competed yesterday against the rest of London Wing. A great turn out and at least 11 medals achieved with some going on to represent the wing at Region. Fantastic result 👏🎉🙌🏅🥈🥉

Last week 32 recruits took part in their Passing Out Parade, formally enrolling them into the squadron in front of their proud families and friends 👏👏🎉🦊

The squadron paraded in three separate locations this #remembrancesunday to mark the #armistice100, the centenary of the end of WWI. We attended services with parades at Leyton and Walthamstow and the church service at Leytonstone. Thank you to all who joined us to remember. • They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning... We will remember them. • #royalbritishlegion #wewillrememberthem #poppyappeal #raf100 @ Waltham Forest, London

We hope you tuned into the #festivalofremembrance at the @royalalberthall yesterday evening. You may have spotted our very own cadet FS Anna Cornelius carrying the Corps banner for the Air Training Corps. We are so pleased that FS was awarded this honour and that we could uphold this 12F tradition on the #armistice100 centenary service.

Only fitting as it's #internationalwomensday that we mention our FS Anna Cornelius takes to the skies for her Light Aircraft Flying Scholarship ✈️ with Tayside Aviation next month. The first cadet to be awarded a Flying Scholarship in 12F for quite some time, we are incredibly proud and wish her the best of luck!! 🤗👏

Please note parade will finish at 9pm tonight to allow cadets extra time to get home. If it is not safe to travel, stay at home and we will put you an a pass!

On Sunday a huge parade of over 300 cadets and adult volunteers came together to mark the 77th anniversary of the Air Training Corps. This ATC Sunday is particularly important as 2018 is also the 100th birthday of the Royal Air Force. #RAF100 The parade marched from Lincoln's Inn Fields to St Clement Danes, the Central Church of the RAF.
Cadets from 12F had the honour of carrying the Corps Banner for the parade and, along with cadets from 31 (Tower Hamlets) Squadron, forming ...the lining party at the entrance of the Church with FS D.Faulkner, where they greeted a number of RAF senior officers and other VIPs, who joined the cadets and volunteers for a service of thanksgiving and dedication. #whatwedo

*12F are the 2017 National Banner Drill Champions* 🎉🎉👏👏
This weekend our Drill Team and Banner team both gave superb performances at the Corps Competition at RAF Honington. Our Drill Team placed 4th best in the UK, and our Banner Team came first, with Sgt Cornelius placing 2nd as Best Banner Bearer. We are so proud of them all and would like to thank everyone who supported us along the way!
