Congratulations are in the air to Spencer Hill this week, one of our ex cadets whom left us at the end of 2018. He passed out at RAF Halton this Tuesday as he starts what will no doubt be an action filled career ahead of him.

1329 (Stroud) Sqn have been privileged to be chosen by our local Waitrose Store as part of their community matters scheme for the month of February.
We are raising money to purchase new out door equipment to ensure all members of our squadron have access to a pool of equipment to enable them to take part in activities such as their Duke of Edinburgh award.
If you could consider dropping your token in our direction we would all be most grateful.
... Kind regards
1329 Sqn

Today some of our cadets had their first opportunity at Gliding courtesy of 637 Volunteer Gliding Squadron with Bronze ATP wings gained as well as some Blue! A great start to 2019 for the Squadron!

Today some of our cadets had the exhilarating opportunity of flying at MOD ST Athan in Wales.
All of those whom attended worked towards levels of a training syllabus from basic turns to various aerobatics.
One of the cadets said, “I flew the Grob T1 Tutor, a cadet training plane. It was my first flight, and I learnt basic turns and directions. Other cadets were able to perform basic aerobatics. Flying a plane yourself is a very exciting and rare experience, one that Air Ca...dets has allowed me to enjoy.”
Do you want to experience one of these opportunities? Check out our website if you fancy joining us. 🙂

This week some of our cadets were lucky enough to spend an evening at Velocity Flight Training in their Boeing 737 flight simulator. A big thank you to Dunc for teaching us safe takeoffs and landings and how to fly in some interesting weather conditions!

As part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets, the Air Training Corps has three main aims;
1. To promote and encourage among young men and women a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force. 2. To provide training which will be useful in both the services and civilian life. 3. To foster a spirit of adventure and to develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship.
... Our motto is Venture, Adventure and we encourage young people to join and give something a try, you never know what you might find you enjoy. It may even lead you to your future career path.
Cadets range from 12 to 20 and anyone can join between the ages of 12 and 17. We have a long term plan of what you can expect to achieve during each year you are part of the Air Cadets.
Sound interesting?
Contact us now to find out more. Just message us through Facebook, send an email to oc.1329@aircadets.org or phone us on a Tuesday or Friday using the phone number on this page.
We look forward to welcoming you on a visit to see what we offer.

Today a minibus full of our cadets visited the RAF Museum at Cosford to enhance their knowledge and assist in their classification training.
As it turns out they enjoyed the bus ride just as much as the museum judging by this message received from a member of the public as we were on route!! Our squadron branding obviously works!!

We are now recruiting. Do you want to do more? Want to rise above the rest? Want to fly and shoot for real and not just in video games? Then join the Royal Air Force Air Cadets like these cadets did.
Year 8 or above are eligible to join us at 1329 (Stroud) Squadron.
We meet every Tuesday and Friday at 19:00 on our Squadron which is located at the top of the hill on the Old Bisley Road.
