1365 Aylesbury Sqn Atc

We were delighted to welcome a visitor to the squadron this evening - Derek Axtell was a cadet at 1365 (Aylesbury) 50 years ago and was fascinated to see the changes.
Derek is pictured here with our newest recruit, Maddie Smith, together with the old 1365 sign and Sgt Phillips and Cpl Ormston. We hope she remembers her time here as fondly as Derek,

Last year Perrys, Bicester Road, Aylesbury kindly offered to support our minibus by doing the annual service and MOT.
This year they have not only done the service and MOT, but have also repaired the brakes for us, ensuring the safety of our cadets and transport for future events. A very special thank you from all of us at 1365 (Aylesbury) Squadron

Well done to our cadets who took part in the Wing Cross Country event this weekend Many congratulations to Cpl Gough, Cpl McNicholas, Cdt Kirkpatrick-Brown and Cdt Zvomuya who as a team won first place overall in Group B and Cdt Fell for winning the individual race for his class

Meet Officer Commanding 1365 Aylesbury Squadron Flight Lieutenant Ian Toye. He recently joined the Aylesbury Squadron in July. He has a long background in aviation and now currently works for Airbus. We are happy to have him in command.

We would like to thank Halton Aeroplane Club for taking 9 of our cadets flying this morning. We had a great time and we hope the cadets left your planes nice and clean 😊
