We had there, a very nice experience; great food, beautifully presented, and good service!

Was excited to try this place! My partner and I lived in Beijing for 3 years and have been desperate to find somewhere here that does our favourite Authentic Chinese dishes and not just the very sweet or greasy dishes you usually see at UK Chinese restaurants.



We tried the Kungpao Chicken, the Fried Green Beans and a Spicy Potato dish. I was very impressed with the quality of the food and it was surprisingly authentic (the only thing it was missing was Sichuan Peppers 花椒 ).



We will definitely be ordering from here again! Not only was the food absolutely delicious but the customer service was great too. I highly recommend you come and give 1423 a try!

Had an amazing meal at 1423 China Kitchen in Windsor last night. Not like your usual Chinese, this was fresh, beautifully presented, fantastic flavours, authentic dishes. The service was great, very attentive and clearly cared about their business and making sure we enjoyed the experience. Yes it is more expensive, but worth it, the dishes are huge, 1 main and a rice would be enough for 2. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend.

Good location, easy to find. The food is authetic, if you like Chinese food. The service is friendly and warm. The restaurant owner is very helpful, who can always offer me what I like. Highly recommended. ÔøΩ

We had a very enjoyable evening. The best Chinese food I've had, & very attentive friendly staff.

The Hot and Sour soup was the best I have ever had. The Crispy Duck was good but a bit dry. The Szechwan Chicken was delicious, the chicken was very tender. The staff were polite, friendly and efficient. The decor is Tudor meets China with a pleasant ambience. That was slightly marred by the takeout delivery drivers hanging out in the dinning area waiting for orders. All and all a pleasant experience. Will return.

Service on the whole good one waitress a bit confused with what course we were on manager very efficient and rectified the problem

Overall the food was good. However, even though we have ordered sizzling pork with black beans, what we got was just pork with black beans (The sizzling part was missing). Service was okay but can certainly do better. They have confused some of our orders and came up with different dishes, so I had to take away two stars for that. Please improve communication.
