1444 (Brownhills) Squadron Atc

We are accepting new cadets on Monday 15 July with an Open Evening on Wednesday 10 July. Must be 12+ and in Year 8+.
Activities include aviation, BTEC, DofE, first aid, drill, flying, shooting, camps, radio, Cyber, and much more.

Last night we had a visit from OC Staffordshire Wing. Thanks Sir!

A massive congratulations to Cadet Warrant Officer Harley.
Harley has now gained the highest rank the Air Cadets has to offer. This was after a successful interview with OC staffordshire Wing!
Amazing Effort. Well done!!

Our 2 flights, led by our Sgts, have been given a brand and identity for the first time, chosen by the cadets, and are now named Vulcan and Hercules

A successful day Sunday with 15 Blue Radio badges and 13 Bronze Cyber badges achieved through the courses we hosted. A big step closer to the 200 target this year!

1444 has set itself the target of achieving 200 badges this year! The first 3, Blue Wings involving a flight in a Tutor and then a simulator session, were achieved at the weekend. Keep up to date with our progress

A significant Remembrance Day this year as we mark 100 years of the RAF and 100 years since the end of World War One. 1444 remembers and respects

They shall not grow old, as we are that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, ... and in the morning. We will remember them.

We hosted 17 cadets from across the Wing today for a Methods of Instruction Course - now to return to sqns for their assessment. We also completed First Class with 8 cadets. Well done to all!
