It's a long road to Tipperary so why not stop along the way to get into the swing of things at this incredibly popular vintage spectacular. Dig out that polka dot dress, wax that moustache and put on your dancing shoes for a weekend of all singing, all dancing, all action fun!
Various 1940s themed events and re-enactments will be taking place at stations along the 12 mile line. Highlights include battle re-enactments, a working Spitfire, vintage stalls, live music, dance classes, tank displays, classic cars and more!
* Listen to ENSA entertainment from Paul Harper, Don Gentile, The Rum and Cola Girls, The Washboard Resonators, The Bluebird Belles, Rachel Mercer and Kelly Ann Waldie.
* Watch battle re-enactments.
* Enjoy live music and dancing, including the George Formby Appreciation Society and The Backstep Boogie Club.
* Check out military and classic vehicle displays.
* Say "bonjour" to the characters from 'Allo, 'Allo.
* Peruse fashion and memorabilia stalls.
* Be mesmerized by Jez Mansfield Magician & Spiv Extraordinaire.
* Sit in the cockpit of a working Spitfire and experience the sight, sound and power (small additional charge).
* Soak up the patriotic atmosphere of our VE Day Concert (Monday only).
* Meet hundreds of dedicated re-enactors.
* Look at historical displays including a replica Field Kitchen and American Military Camp.
* Shake hands with Sir Winston Churchill who will be making appearances throughout the weekend.
* Visit the different themed stations along the line from Camp Roanoke to Rossendorf.
* Treat yourself to a traditional cream tea (and glass of fizz) in our opulent Observation Saloon (small additional charge).
