Good Afternoon everyone
Hope we are all staying safe and well. As you are aware their will be no Boys Brigade tonight but watch out over the weekend for activities getting posted for you to take part in. These will be part of your badge work so Boys Brigade will continue but from the home. Stay tuned!

Last week we stopped meeting due to the coronavirus outbreak - Boys Brigade HQ have now advised all Boys Brigades to stop meeting until further notice.
From myself please remember to check on neighbours, relatives and anyone that would be vulnerable. If anyone needs anything please let me know and I’ll try my best to help if you are not able to get out.

Important notice...
Good evening everyone as you will have seen in the news with the spread of the coronavirus it is not settling down at the moment. As a group of leaders we feel that until things start to get better and settle down we have decided to postpone Boys Brigade for the time being.

World Book Day at Boys Brigade - last night

Happy world book day 🌍 📚
Remember you can wear your outfits tomorrow night for Boys Brigade if you have one.

Last night we were looking at Shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday and the start of lent. We got the children to draw themselves and make a sign of the cross on their heads out of charcoal. We then made pictures out of chalk saying Remember Man you art dust and to dust thou shalt return. We then had delicious pancakes 🥞 😋. The children then left with a rock to remember that Jesus was tempted During that time the devil came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.”

Boys Brigade is back tonight (fingers crossed the snow does not settle) we will be looking at shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday tonight and the start of lent. Remember to bring your friends along tonight for a chance to earn the bring a friend badge!
Company and Seniors finish at 9pm

Tonight we have continued to learn our new song Our God is a great big God - we need to work on the actions and the words but the boys are picking it up

Tomorrow is the last night before we break up for Christmas! So let’s have a Christmas party 🎉. Can everyone please bring something for the buffet table for us to share. It will also be non uniform night so come in your Christmas Jumpers! All sections will finish at 8pm

Tonight Mr Christingle joined us at Aston

Tonight is our Boys Brigade Christingle we are starting as normal at 6.30 and and anchors and Juniors finishing at 8 company and Seniors are finishing at 9.
Parents are asked if they want to stay till 8pm. The service will be led by Rev Joe Cooper.
Any members that have left are welcome to join us
