Went for afternoon tea yesterday. Lovely selection of cakes to choose from - I had lemon and ginger cake which tasted absolutely lovely, and moist. The sandwiches served with it were a great selection and also very lovely. The scones were amazing!! Very very yummy and I would love to go back. Great price also! Would recommend to anyone 😊

We're sat here after a lovely lunch at the 2Sisters Cafe @ Plumgarths. It's our regular stop when visiting the Lakes and never disappoints..great range of home made food with great service as well...recommended!

We were blown away by the freshness of the spicy tomato soup. The seasoning was perfect. The sandwiches were truly amazing. The variety was incredible. The presentation was beautiful. The service was second to none. And the coffee was excellent. Just a pity we couldn't fit a cake in . Hopefully next time we will. Think this will become a regular haunt �

We traveled especially just for afternoon tea from Blackpool.

The sandwich selection lovely on oh so fresh bread. Scones were huge with a good dollop of clotted cream and tiptree jam, we didn't sample our cake selection as a cake box to take it home was the order of the day . The only thing I would say is that the only seats was by the door, no problem , except people were pushing past to use the door, even though there was another entrance. I can understand that due to safety the door can't be locked but a polite notice could be put on the door to use the other enterance if a customer is eating. Will be back to sample the other yummy foods.

We love it here. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. Eating here is one of the highlights of our holiday.

We had been meaning to try Plumgarth and the 2 Sisters Cafe for ages. We loved it! We each had the festive platter yesterday lunchtime and it was really good. Great ingredients and presentation. Staff were really good with excellent customer service. We will be back!

Visited this lovely cafe this afternoon. My friend and I ordered both varieties of quiche (roast veg & feta / bacon, cheddar and cherry tomato) which was served with a lovely side salad. Another friend had the pea & ham soup. All meals were delicious. We even had room to sample the cakes (cherry & almond / banana & walnut / tiffin) - again all delicious! Highly recommended. Can't wait to come back!

Me and my partner called in last week for breakfast after staying at Carus Green Golf Club and it was absolutely delicious! Well worth the visit after reading through the reviews on TripAdvisor!

Me and my husband had afternoon tea at the 2sisters corner cafe in Kendal yesterday, it was lovely, fab selection of cakes, and staff friendly and cafe lovely and clean, also the bathroom facilities spotless too, will definitely be returning. 😊

Lovely cafe with log burner and a great selection of magazines for guests to enjoy reading. The food is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are welcoming, happy and friendly people.

Four of us popped in for a spot of lunch today! Afternoon tea for one mushroom mozzarella pancake, bacon & leek quiche and ham panene! Really nice and good value! Great smiley service too! Would recommend and we'll be back!

Excellent food including gluten free options. Lovely breakfast and lunchtime menu options. Everything cooked fresh to order. Cakes looked delicious but couldn’t manage one after the lovely breakfast!! Highly recommended.

Calum and i stopped here for lunch after visiting Sizergh Castle. The service was friendly and welcoming and the food was great.

A great place to go....warm fire....friendly staff and great food. Even a nice walk to get there!!
