We've been hiring DVD's from 20th Century for over ten years and we love the service we get (particularly as non-film-buff people). We hired the cinema for my birthday which was a brilliant experience. We recommend 20th Century to all of our Netflicks and Fire subscribing friends as the collection available, I think, is bigger and better.

Very welcoming and the cinema is ace. Even better than the old location!

Such a fun thing to do, hiring a 11 seater cinema, our session was £50 so a cheap night of entertainment, especially as you can bring in your own food and drink! We were allowed to arrive earlier as the film we chose, which was included in the price ran over the 2hrs. There is a kitchen area with plates, glasses etc so good I'm back there end of Oct!

Introducing my friends to The Room in the Kino whilst eating a choc-ice is all I've ever wanted and more. Great place, great staff, cute cats. WOULD RECOMMEND.

I have been renting movies from here for over half my life, and the staff have never ceased to be warm, helpful and genuinely interested in film. Many times I've wandered in with only a half-formed idea of what I wanted, and have been guided to something wonderful and unexpected. Since the move to Christmas Steps things have only got better - everyone should hire out the wonderful, comfortable, BYOB Kino!!

A wonderful time was had by all! Dave was so helpful in helping me organise my husband's surprise birthday party in the kino. They didn't have the title I wanted in stock (I'm rather proud of that, given their extensive library!) so he sourced it and ordered it in for us. Really friendly service, done properly by enthusiasts who clearly know their stuff. So good to see a business like this thriving in the days of movies-on-demand! I am recommending it to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful evening & we look forward to returning.
