Well done to Sgt Carey who has been selected to represent Region at the Corps Athletics. Congratulations.

Well done to CWO Maruszewska and Cdt Smith who shot for the Squadron in the Collins Shoot and also achieved Blue Trained Shot. Congratulations to you both.

Well done to Sgt Austin-King who took 2nd in 200m and Sgt Carey who came 1st in Javelin. Congratulations.

So today we have cadets representing Wing at athletics - good luck - and cadets shooting for the Collins shoot - good luck to you all.

Our next Civilian Committee meeting will be held on Friday 7th June at 7pm. Several parents have shown interest in joining us, and we would be happy for anyone to come to see what we do. As it's also Volunteers' Week, we will have cake!

Sadly they are now walking in the rain.

Time for a quick compass lesson - but remember compasses can't magically tell you where you are - you have to know how to use them.

We also have staff at the Wing Shooting CPD day, to improve their skills.

So our cadets have been enjoying training in map reading and navigation and camp skills. Today a walk to put it all into practice.

Congratulations to Cdts Galuba, Keza, O'Connell and O'Grady who last week passed their assessment for Blue Radio Badge. Well done to you all.

Reminder about Ramadan Day - our annual optional fasting day for tomorrow. This involves not eating or drinking anything between 3.02 and 21.01. There will be dinner including cake at Squadron for anyone who has given it a go. Important to prepare the day before by drinking lots of water. It's perfectly ok to finish early if you feel you need to. Good luck everyone.
