Update on last week's accident. Seems the driver of the vehicle that caused this carnage is trying to not to accept fault!!!and as they waited till sober before handing themselves in drink driving can't be proven!!If anyone saw that person prior to the crash and can confirm they were actually well over limit we would be very grateful of a witness as that would help my drivers case. He has been left not only injured but also car less.im sure the police/courts will find the driver liable but until then it will be a fault claim on my driver which makes getting a replacement courtesy taxi difficult. Any help in this matter would be very helpful to us.thanks. Craig @ 24/7 taxis.

This is the effects of drink driving!!!This is one of our taxis from last night that was hit by a drunk driver driving on wrong side of road with no lights on!!!the culprit has now been apprehended after running away from the scene at the time.luckily the customer on board was sat in the back!!how no serious injuries occurred is a miracle. Both our driver and customer have suffered severe whiplash and shock but as you can see from the pictures they have been very lucky!!! It'...s now Xmas party time and lots of people out drinking and enjoying themselves but please think of other people on the road and DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!!! We will be out working throughout the festive period getting people home safe and sound and really don't need this type of incident. It could have been a very different story if not for the sharp reaction of our driver.he is now recovering at home with his wife and young children who also had the shock of the phone call at 2am and seeing the damage caused. We wish all to have a great and safe Xmas time but please please don't drink and drive call 63405/758015 and get home safely. All the best from us all at 24/7 taxis.

24/7 taxis are proud to be transporting kendal boxing squad to Copenhagen to compete at European level.the lads have worked towards this for 2 years now and are looking very good.we hope to be bringing a full set of gold medals back to kendal!!we leave next Saturday the 6th October and arrive in Denmark Monday.the squad will then train over there up to the weigh in on Friday and will box on the Saturday and hopefully the finals on sunday.we wish them all the best on what will be a lifelong memory for them.they thoroughly deserve this chance and I'm sure they will do kendal proud!!
