We have some leaders staying with Merseyside Scouts leaders this weekend for some leader skills training.
What great weather, great company and a great place !
Can’t wait to show you more of what we got up to !

Panthers were out for the evening putting tracking into practice , doing some basic map reading and having fun !
Thank you to the 3 parents and King Louie who helped on the night! You were FAB!

We’re all finally home from a fantastic weekend walking around Waddecar and Beacon Fell. A great effort made by these scouts. We are definitely looking forward too the next one

As a group we are blessed to have such supportive parents! You are all fantastic role models to our young scouts.

Our Bowlander Team set off this morning on an over night hike in the county competition - it’s the first time in many years that the group has entered !
Getting out and about and having these adventures is what sets us apart !

Tonight Wolf Pack were working together on different team challenges. Thanks to Panther Pack leaders for your support!!

It was the thunder kits turn to have a visit from John!!! We all had loads of fun and got to hold some fantastic animals!!! Even the leaders had a go too!!!

So this past Tuesday was the Panther Pack’s turn for the Zoo Man ! Lots of excited faces - and a few scared ones !
John was great with putting the cubs at ease ! And even our young leaders got in on the act !
We can’t help but wonder what the Zoo Man will bring to the Thunder-Kits tonight..........

When Akela get a new car and let’s the Crossen Troop loose on the old one ! 🙈

More from our evening with lightning castors!!! We had quite a few excited Harry Potter fans when John brought the snowy owl out!

What an awesome evening the lightning castors had when John came to visit!!! He brought lots of exotic and unusual animals for us to learn about and handle!!! We all had lots and lots of fun and have now completed our animal friends badge!!!

A great night tonight at Wolf Pack with a visit from John the Zoo Man and also one new cub invested.

An exciting night for the thunder kits!!! We had animal show and tell! And some even brought their pets in to show us and tell us about. A special thank you to Bob the hamster, ariel the rabbit, dave the goldfish and buckey the chicken for coming to visit us! We also invested our new members! Busy beavers indeed!!!

Panther Pack made a start on tracking skills last night - even got outside in storm George!
Followed by a couple of team games 🙂
