wer to start I took my grandsons for the first time who is 6 and 3 this place is fantastic the staff are so friendly had so much to do I found this adventure land by mistake and it was the best find to the guy who run the water gun fights a++++ cooled us rite down and fun even for the parents. for having young staff they was all patient and smiling. food was ok not fantastic it was reasonably priced wud definatly go bk and to recommend it for the animals to rides play area's had bonus aswell with a show put on with Elsa and Santa fab day thank u and see u again.

User

We went yesterday for the British legion day, we had an amazing time my three year daughter loved feeding the baby calf's and holding the rabbits and we also were lucky enough to be there when 1 of the goats had there baby x my only problem we had was the length of weight for food to be served but I do understand that it was a very hot and busy day while we were there.

User

We went yesterday as a part of a large group on the educational trip, it was a hot day and we were all feeling a bit grumpy because of the heat, but I must say the staff were fantastic, they were energetic, helpful and patient and very engaging with the children.

One of the staff in the animal area in particular went out of his way to get a ferret and rabbits out for my children to hold and spent a long time answering their questions.

The fact that all the attractions and rides are included in the entry fee is fantastic as you can allow your children to enjoy everything without it costing a small fortune! I do agree with other reviews that a lick of paint wouldn't go amiss but my kids didn't notice or care, the amount of activities they enjoyed and the amount of fun they had for a very reasonable entry fee I think was great value for money!

User

We visited today and spent the whole day here. A fantastic and well recommended Day and the staff where absolutely brilliant. My kids got the worker wet with the water guns and then worker then joined in. Everyone was soaked but he made it so much more fun. Everyone who was dressed up as super hero’s where great. We will be back again and we will recommend to our friends. Thank you for a great day

User

We came for the British Legion day and what a great day it was ! 4 Kingdoms went above and beyond and we really felt it! The staff were all very helpful, very happy and on hand. The activities were great! We thoroughly enjoyed the water gun fight the whole day was brilliant seeing the funny soldiers around, the young cadets supporting collections and the wonderful atmosphere all round made our day! Well done 4 kingdoms, I will highly recommend your site.

User

Visited yesterday with another 2 childminders and 17 kids between us!! They all had a fantastic day, the staff couldn’t have been friendlier(a special shout out to the tractor driver who was covering all rides). Something for all ages and well laid out. I haven’t taken any stars away as love this place (5th year running we’ve been) and I love the changes that have been made since last year, but would be great to have more parasols on the tables and maybe some portaloos at the opposite end.....someone always needs a wee just when we get to the fairy garden!!!

User

This is the second visit for me and my granddaughter; last year we visited around the same time of year when she was two yrs old and we had a fun time, this year we visited on Wednesday 18th June and we spent a very enjoyable 4 hrs here taking in the mini steam train ride, the tractor-trailer ride, viewing the animals and making use of the many different play areas.

Having read through many of the negative comments that have been left, I would like to say this:

Overall the park does look a little tired and slightly neglected and I think a lot of the play equipment is possibly acquired after it’s been decommissioned by its previous owners but for me, this adds to the park’s attraction! It isn’t like the very expensive Peppa World/Paulton’s Park or Chessington etc and this is reflected in the admission price as once in you don’t pay for any other rides, even the old and once coin operated sit-and-rides are set up as free rides so you just press the ‘start’ button.

I found the staff very helpful and friendly both at the ticket desk and around the park.

It is obviously still a work in progress as there appeared to be a pathway being laid and there were workers on site doing something to an area that was cordoned off.

I didn’t notice any long grass but there was an employee who was busy with a strimmer!

The female loos appeared clean; there was soap, paper towels and the taps worked. The warm air dryer seemed a little lack-lustre though, not enough power to be effective.

All of the animals looked very well cared for; their enclosures appeared clean and comfortable with food and water. I will add that the animals on the right hand side as you approach from the main building and went further into the shed, appeared to be in quite dimly lit enclosures, so much so it was difficult to see them properly. Perhaps artificial day lighting would be beneficial to these darker enclosures? I was also alarmed that a visitor was able to pick a baby rabbit out from its enclosure and hand it to the children in their group; initially I thought the adults were 4K staff as they had identical polo shirts on but when I discovered they were carers/support workers out with their child charges I was quick to say I think you should put the rabbit back now as it’s frightened, which they did. Clearly a staff member should be on hand in this area at all times during opening to ensure the well-being of the animals.

We only had a sandwich and a portion of chips from the cafe and didn’t have any issues with our order.

I agree it would be helpful to update the website with any play areas out of order/closed particularly as on our visit yesterday we were disappointed to find the large toddler outdoor play area cordoned off (even though we did lots of other things!).

We will definitely visit again!

User

It's rare to find a place where everyone you meet is enjoying their job.

From the second we got there to the moment we left 6hours later, the staff couldn't do enough for us. Tractor rides, pedalows, trains, animals (that my toddler could handle as much as she pleased) different themed play areas, go-carts and a very small detail that matters greatly to me, baby changing areas in both the female and male toilets. It's these small things that make a huge difference and I always notice if somewhere is actually thinking about who they are catering for.

When I mentioned that my toddler loved pirates, a team member disappeared and came back dressed as a pirate and spent an hour with the children going around the park hunting for "treasure".

We will be returning many many times.

I visited today with my 4 year old daughter and 20 month old son. We had the most fantastic day! Quite shocked reading some of the reviews as we had no problems whatsoever. Plenty of staff available to open rides up and others busy repainting the village and carrying out maintenance on other parts I guess ready for when it get super busy over the summer. The staff were so attentive and engaging with the children and my daughter is already asking when we can go back! Brilliant value for money, especially with everything included in the entry price - we didn't manage to get round everything though even though we arrived at 10am and stayed till gone 4pm!!! Definitely worth a visit, you won't be disappointed!

User

I loved it, the kids loved it, staff were great, engaged and attentive (even the youngsters!) Great fun had by all (ages 2,4,9,31). As suggestions for minor improvements I would recommend looking at the food hall, we were asked to provide a table number when ordering hot food, only to have to listen out for a ticket number being called....why the need for the table number? Also, it was a super hot day and you had ran out of water ballons by 1pm.....we were abit gutted as we needed cooling off! Still it didn't 'dampen' our spirits. Will defo visit again.

User

Had an absolutely amazing day at four kingdoms yesterday for my son Bob's 5th birthday fire engine party, he was made to feel important from the minute we arrived, the party host was great and the fire engine driver who i think was call Stuart was amazing, he made sure Bob was having the time of his life and it was so worth it, bob and all his friends and family a brilliant day and i would highly recommend to anyone.

User

First time we have been here and our 2 year old loved it!

Lots of age appropriate parts, the staff where all so friendly and efficient

The people doing the frozen show especially deserve a mention, as they both where so good with all the kids and adults through out the lead up and after the sing along . Dan is great! The best part was my daughter was convinced she met Princess Elsa and left singing.. do you wanna build a snowman..in 30ds heat ! We will be back very soon

As an elderly grandmother I was cautious about visiting an adventure playground for young children. It's been an extremely hot day and that's not good news for me. However, the warm welcome from the staff and the fact that they went out of their way to help made my day. The children, aged from 2 to 7 had a whale of a time. It's their second visit. A lovely atmosphere and the most fantastic chips ever. Thank you.

I visited on 10 August 2018 with my 4 year old granddaughter. I must say my first impressions were not good as I thought it all looked very tired and a bit run down. However I must say that despite my initial impressions we had a brilliant day. My granddaughter absolutely loved it all from the animals in the barn (although I agree the lighting could be a lot better towards the back of the barn) to the numerous play areas and rides. The giant “pillow” trampolines and the mini lake with the hand pedalos were my granddaughters favourite!! We went on the tractor ride around the farm which was bumpy and great fun. The biggest hit was the two guys dressed as Spider-Men who were doing various dance routines and getting the children/guests to join in. My granddaughter absolutely loved them. Hats off to them both as it was a really hot day and they remained in their costumes for hours entertaining the children around the park - they must have been sweltering!! The staff were all brilliant and very kind and friendly to the children.

Well done 4 Kingdoms, you’re doing a great job!!

User

Had a good day today at 4kingdoms. I liked that there were lots of different things to do - animals, train ride, tractor ride, pedalos, lazer quest, trampoline things as well as dancing dinosaurs for the event. Something for all ages. The tractor driver was very enthusiastic. I liked that we didn’t have to pay for anything extra inside the park (other than food/gifts). My only negative and reason for giving it 4 stars is that the cafe was rammed full at lunch time and there was such massive queues and nowhere to sit, my family and I skipped lunch and made do with just the snacks we’d taken which was a shame as we would have liked to have sat down and had a burger.

Overall though I would return, particularly for the darth Vader event and the unicorn event.

User

Visited today for the 1st time. Its ok. The play equipment is fun and there's lots to do. But the staff were incompetent (except the tractor driver). They have no control over things. Queue jumping is rife by unaccompanied children. The go karts/cars were ridiculous.... queuing for a long while in today's heat and then all the batteries needing charging up at once with just 1 cart being usable, this happened more than once.

The dinosaurs were doing a great job considering it must of been hot in the costumes, but every dancing dinosaur "show" throughout the day was the same 3 songs.

Farm animals with no water.

The only toilets absolutely filthy by 2pm.

We left with the impression that you are under staffed and under prepared for the weather and the summer holidays. For the amount we paid to get in we didn't expect to have to queue while 1 poor member of staff ran 3 rides (tractor, train and the barrels) especially during the holidays when you must expect higher visitor numbers.

User

I visited with my mum and my 18 month old daughter.

Very disappointed with the price, £22 for my mum and I. I would of preferred to pay for my daughter and not the adults as ultimately it’s a place for her.

There were very few staff around and many of them not in uniform.

There seemed to be a lot of areas around the park that were closed off, not in use, empty or unattended. I understand that we visited on a weekday in term time but if everything isn’t running then there needs to be a discount in the price.

Only the mini yellow train and the electric go karts we’re running.

I agree with the cleanliness reviews from others...my daughter was filthy when we got home! I’m not overly sure I’d return to be honest. One of the good things about having a toddler is being able to visit these places when their not really busy but when half the zones aren’t running then I’ve paid a lot of money for a big play park.

User

Although it was a very hot day , there did seem to be lack of organisation and staff, also not very clean. The poor guy on the tractor ride was not only trying to run the tractor but was running the train and the bob carts as well he didn’t know which one to run next . The animal handling area was far to hot for the animals and really didn’t want to be handled as a few children got bitten but the bunny’s and guinea pig . The main reason for going there was for the dinosaurs as my son loves them and we were left unimpressed . I really wouldn’t rush to go back today should have been a fun family day and it really wasn’t

User

This place is filthy there was rubbish everywhere and dirty tables.

This place is unsafe there was a digger ride for kids that was leaking hydraulic oil everywhere I reported this to a staff member and nothing was done my daughter cut her foot open and we were told they had run out of plasters and bandages

One of the rides myself and a friend had to help small kids to get a inertube of a tractor tyre up a step incline as there was no other way .

The one star I have to give is for two staff members who went the extra mile for all the kids not sure on names but one was the train driver and the other was the Dino ranger to be farther considering the lack of props they had they did an awesome job.

The problem with this place is the owner clearly has no idea and should give it to someone who has sorry for the brutality but this is the problem
