Saturday saw the return of agility after the christmas and new year festivities and it was a full house in all classes. Lots of dogs who looked to be happy to be back into their Saturday routine and some very good performances.

Those of you that were in the 4AB Agility Handlers Messenger group may have noticed that you were recently removed from it. This was because people were being bombarded with notifications every time anyone commented and I couldn't work out how to close the group, so manually deleted EVERYONE instead.

Many Thanks to all of you who were able to attend the 4AB Agility Christmas Get Together last night. It all went very well and we had the closest finish yet at the Doggy Quiz with the 2018 and 2016 winners finishing as joint winners in 2018. We also managed to raise the most we've ever raised from a single event for our charity (D.A.W.G), rasing an incredible £145 . Special thanks go to my mum, my sister Anna, and my friends Mike and Sarah for helping me set everything up in... record time. A huge thank you to Lucy Morgan and Oscar Pet Foods Meon Valley, for supplying some of our raffle prizes and sponsoring our "Doggy Oscars" presentation. A big thank you also to "Not for Cats" in Whiteley, who also supplied some really wonderful raffle prizes.There were also some lovely individuals who donated raffle prizes, so thank you to Pamela, Frances and Suzy (and I've got a horrible feeling I forgot someone) so anyone else who also donated too. Thanks to Lauren Thorne too, who very kindly baked some Red Velvet Cupcakes which went down very well. A big thank you also to Nandie and Claire who helped set up the buffet, which meant me and Angela could get on with other things that needed doing. A beautiful autumn day with lots of sunshine and happy dogs.

Unfortunately, the day was cut short by the monsoon that hit us in the afternoon but we still managed to get some photos from 2 of the classes that went ahead.

Rik is the best trainer. He is so enthusiastic for all types of dogs to do agility. It's different every week so the dogs will always be challenged. It's great fun for dogs and owners alike.

Rik is a fantastic trainer, installing confidence in both dog and owner! And it's great fun x

Rik has a passion for all breeds of dog. Whether they are massive or minute, excited or shy he will help you get the best out of them in a positive way.

Our Hugo will never be very quick,is very shy and scared of most things, but he enjoys agility and it's great for their socialising. He now lets some people stroke him, including Rik, a big step for him

My sixteen year old has been taking our now seven year old jackapoo for a year to Riks fun agility classes. GUESS WHAT, YOU CAN TEACH AN OLD DOG NEW TRICKS! The sessions are non competitive, inclusive of any breed or ability and pretty reasonably priced. You can choose to pay as you go for flexibility or block book for a discount. I have absolutely loved watching the bond develop and strengthen between my daughter and her dog. Her confidence has grown and its pretty good exercise for them both too. 100% recommended

Highly recommend giving it a go! Great fun and you'll learn so much about your own handling!!! Rik is a top bloke and a great trainer

Doug loves agility, so do I. Rik is so good and all dogs love him. He is amazing with anxious and reactive dogs and just knows how to support them to avhieve the best

Bailey loves agility, always go home happy after a session.....highly recommend Rik, he makes it fun for dogs and their owners.
