Lots of meeting n greeting dogs, going into dog friendly shops and practicing the 'lets go' at Trentham gardens...with Isla, Hugo and Walter! Some great handling too by owners' Jane, Sarah and Mark...

FAO Sunday 6pm class - meeting 11am at the end of Trentham Gardens shops. Sunday 9 Dec 2018. I will be there around 10.45am so you will spot my van! Well done to all the Monday foundation class..you have all done so well..keep up with the training!

Last session from Mondays foundation class..

We started with our boxer Monty when he was a young pup,

The classes were really friendly and small that you could get to know people and their pups.

The classes were well structured and great fun too.

We learned a lot from Kate

So much so that when Monty became a little bigger and difficult to walk, we booked a 1-1 session with Kate.

She came to out home discussed our concerns and off we went.

She brought leads, harness that we could try and was full of great ideas and techniques we could try.

I now walk Monty alone and he's a pleasure, he no longer pulls and we enjoy our walks a lot more.

We have contacted Kate a couple of times over various things and she always has time to listen and give advice, it will be a number that will be staying in our phones.

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to Kate. The puppy training classes are fab for both dogs and their owners. Max has loved every week learning good behaviours and Manners through lots of fun training activities and positive reinforcement. He has grown in confidence and loves socialising and playing in a controlled and safe environment with the other dogs. We as owners have learnt so much and thoroughly enjoyed being able to go to classes as a family so that we could all take on board and practice the techniques at home. The classes are small and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for Kate who even helped us out choosing the right size and comfortable fitting harness and lead for max. Definitely recommend for anybody who is thinking of any sort of training for their dog. We will be returning for the intermediate classes in the future. �

We are very grateful to Kate for her excellent training course that our lively puppy dog, Duncan attended recently. We learnt so much together and he came on leaps and bounds, he made doggy and human friends and we did too! He passed the course and got a certificate which was a nice touch! Thank you Kate looking forward to the Bronze Paws Course.

Thanks Kate for your one to one training sessions and wonderful advice with our rescue dog Casper, he has grown in confidence and is becoming so more relaxed around other dogs during his walks and thank you for recommending the perfect fit harness he is more relaxed when we put it on him and he seems confident and happy on walks.

Staff are great, take a genuine interest in your dogs and classes are small. Great set up at the community centre, buster can’t wait for the intermediate class!

My Baxter enjoys Monday's so much. His excitement to go in is immense, and he guides me towards the door before its time to go in. Kate truely understands Baxter's issues & in just 3 weeks we have made great progress. The classes are so much fun for the dogs they have no idea that they are learning. Its so positive & all the dogs in our group all have a great time. Baxter has a long way to go, through no fault of his own. I will now be arranging 1-1 sessions with Kate, to compliment his group work. Kate is always available via phone/text to offer advice. And the group walks are so much fun for everyone. If you are looking for a healthy, positive experience for you and your dog, this is definately the place you need to be.

Mira my whippet is very shy and timid, she has come a long well in class though still nervous, Kate was very good with her and approached her slightly differently allowing her the space she needs. Mira has learnt to play with other dogs and learnt that a tunnel and a ramp are not the scariest things on the planet !! Her obedience has become much better and i felt she enjoyed the learning process x

Kate, who runs the course, is friendly and full of good advice and is happy to answer any questions you have, no matter how obvious the answer might seem! At the class, there is just the right amount of dogs/puppies to allow you to socialise your pooch, but not too many that it becomes loud and unmanageable. Classes are split into puppy play time, tricks, basic training drills and techniques, and question and answer sessions. Instructions and tips for training were really clear and all based on positive reinforcement. Frank, our loud and anxious border terrier puppy, has really benefited from the training, and socialisation. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a new dog or puppy.

Kate and the team are really friendly and professional. They all like dogs and easy to talk to. Myself and my dog (aka Nana) had a great time attending the foundation course. She loves the way the lessons are since she is a treats driven dog �.



And the play sessions are great fun as well. Dogs can be socialised and play with each other. Owners can get to know other as well. I definitely recommend everyone to take the sessions.



Most importantly, I can see a huge difference on Nana's behaviour and I have a closer relationship and understand her more.

Kate & her team looked after my little puppy Winnie and were fantastic with puppy sitting & advice. Would highly recommend!

I took my cockapoo puppy Teddy to Kate's last puppy foundation course. We both enjoyed each week and I was amazed at the improvement in each of the puppies. I would recommend this course to anyone with a young dog �

Having always had dogs from puppies weve trained from the start .this time we have a rescue who needs to start at the begining but is nearly one ..lots of good tips and help every week and learning through games and positive rewarding ..chance for the dogs to play and socialise too in a safe enviroment .

Myself and bella enjoying every week and meeting new people and doggies and making friends too .

Fantastic training with my dog he had a few training issues we needed to sort jumping up etc and kate was able to sort out these problems. Would highly recommend her to anyone who is having dog training issues.

Dexter is our 5 month old dachshund we started the foundation puppy class 6 weeks ago ! The classes are small and friendly so each puppy gets quality time ! Kate makes the training fun for us owners and the puppies.dachshunds are renowned to be stubborn but with the techniques we have been taught he is a well behaved little puppa now . There is plenty of time for the pups to play as well as learn the balance of the class is spot on ! I would highly recommend you give it a try .. people told us it would be a waste of time and we would get nothing from it ! I would urge you don't listen to them we have thoroughly enjoyed the 6 weeks and so has Dexter .. we will look at the intermediate course next ! Oh and he passed !!! �thanks Kate and a job well done x

Daphne enjoyed every minute of her training and we picked up some very handy tips, would definitely recommend. Sorry about your grass Kate, but what else is grass for lol. X

After meeting Kate at the Middleport Mutts event, I contacted her to get my dog fitted for a Perfect Fit harness as Kate is a local supplier. The harnesses come in three different pieces of differing sizes so can be mixed and matched to get the correct individual fit for each dog. My dog now has a comfortably fitting harness which stays in place. I can not only highly recommend the Perfect Fit harness but also the service Kate provides. Thank you. �

4Paws Dog Training have helped us introduce our first puppy to the world. He's come on so much in such a short space of time. A fantastic service and Kate is extremely helpful and knowledgable. Both myself and Chester would highly recommend!!
