We needed an emergency bike service as the bearing had gone on our tandem bike. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond what we asked them to do. The best (and most timely) service we have ever had, we couldn’t be more grateful!!!

Popped in to 4 Play Cycles this morning whilst out and about on the off chance that they could give my bike an emergency gear adjustment. The guys were great, even though I know they were busy and I just landed on them. A quick gear adjustment and I was on my way. They even noticed my brake pads were out of position and adjusted them for me too. Really fab. Thanks so much. Very rare to get that type of service these days and it is just that sort of thing that makes local businesses so important and so special. Thanks again - Angelina

I popped into 4 Play to get some advice re a new bike for my daughter (who suffers with dyspraxia) and they couldn't do enough to help - spending lots of time showing her all the different bikes, reassuring her, making her laugh, letting her try on the helmets etc etc. She struggles with coordination so was quite anxious, but the staff were brilliant with her. Subsequently we ordered a new bike for her birthday (at very short notice), which needed quite a few modifications from standard. All this was done free of charge, with a view to re-amending some of the features as her confidence (hopefully) builds and she becomes more proficient.



Throughout we've received outstanding customer service - I can't recommend them highly enough.

I am on my Holiday,s from Germany and the barings went in my front wheel . 4 Play cycles was recommended from a friend . so i went and was expecting it to take a few days to get fitted in . But the guy in the shop was really great and i got my bike back within a couple of hours . i would recommend this business .

Chain snapped just outside Cockermouth so I nipped into 4play for a new one. Purchased, fitted and given a wee bit of advice. Brilliant friendly service I'll definitely be going back (some awesome bikes on sale too)
