While the Regiment has stood down for a well deserved Christmas break, the Nordic ski team is still training hard in Norway. On Saturday, they enjoyed a classical technique ski before they tucked into a homemade Christmas dinner of beef Wellington with all the trimmings, served by the Officers.

Many thanks to the SSI SSgt Manderson for hosting the second round of the British Army Warrior Fitness competitions here at Alanbrooke Barracks. The event consisted of 4 'rounds', each targeting and fatiguing isolated muscle groups, before finishing with the final round of a total body workout. We were able to enter a male and female team- with many new faces stepping in for the challenge. Congratulations to the female team who secured 3rd place, and the male team who came in 4th place.
