An evening to socialise, relax and laugh for gay, bi and trans men and friends. This evening is being organised by Monday Mindfulness for Gay Men and The Quest.
During the evening storyteller and stand-up comic John Pendal performs his fourth solo stand-up show, looking at sex, sexuality, shame and guilt and explores what would our lives be like if we didn’t have shame?

Great that the kids support him. Even if their parents don’t. How great would it be if every school had positive gay role model.

This is the most comfortable, compassionate and understanding/non-judgemental and dedicated places I have the pleasure of being a patient of. The staff are respectful and such a pleasure to deal with. I truly believe that the only people who would have a problem with the clinic need to re-evaluate their lives and try and appreciate what we are so lucky to call an included national health service. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Two thumbs up to Dean Street!!!

User

The staff are friendly and understanding, they have the patients best interests at heart and always offer options for all kinds of advice and alternative services should you need them!

Knowledgeable and personable! Always an Excellent service!

User

The staff are exceptional and provide a service that many LGBTQ Londoners trust and rely on for their health. This really is the jewel in the crown of NHS sexual health services in the capital.

User

The most amazing place! Took away all fears and made me feel so comfortable and safe - and cared for too. If anyone has any reservations there's no need! Highly recommended in every way x

User

THANKS been there many times and never been disappointed!

User

Quick and easy, love it!

User

Outstanding staff and service. Friendly environment, only downside is travelling there and parking but the service provided more than makes up for it

User

One of the best services I had ever had in health care.

Full of respect, detailed explanation and kindness.

I changed clinics from elsewhere, earlier this year as after 10 years at the other clinic I felt services were in decline. I only wish I had done this earlier. I am so very impressed by the levels of service and the patient focussed approach at Dean Street. I get through on the phone easily, including the telephone clinic who ive used a couple of times. All the Doctors and Nurses Ive dealt with have been so charming & helpful. I really like the Dean Street Express STD testing as well for ease and quick results. I also have some specialist requirements and Dean Street is able to offer me clinics which deal with my particular needs without having to be farmed out to other parts of the NHS , where previously I had to deal with practioner's who were less used to dealing with the requirements of Gay men. I cannot praise Dean Street Highly enough, and thank you for the excellent service.

Due to its popularity the walking side has changed to appointments. As I live outside London this is good as I can be seen but also bad if the slots are already gone. So far I've managed to get appointments when I need them.

I have always found the staff helpful, knowledgeable, and non-judgmental. A major advantage of the express service is getting the results quickly.

I travel to use this service as it's where I feel the most comfortable when discussing my sexual health.

User

Amazing staff & facilities. They need more people to donate money so they keep doing the amazing work they do 6 Team.

ALWAYS EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS

Staff here are amazing.

A five-star, non-judgemental and welcoming service, 56 Dean Street is how all sexual health clinics should be

User

I use this service alot as I am a adult performer and normally it is good but lately very concerning, I awaited 3 days to be seen after being assured by them that I would be seen on arrival ( from Liverpool ) turned away each day (2pm- full capacity ) on the third day was turned away at 11am with alot of others then watched walk in get seen, even though a lot had just been turned away ,,,, when I was finally seen I had to correct a staff member on the procedure for the paper part cert,,, only received half my results , 2 days later still no swab results only blood, senior nurse assured me to contact me first thing Monday , no contact and a auto phone service which is not helpful to get through to actually speak to a staff member ,,, due to this I wasted 3 days in London (costly) lost 2 days work (even more costly)

❤️ UPDATE -senior nurse at express clinic was amazing and took time to email my full cert to me this morning

Thank you

User

Walk-in's are gone, results waits are now even longer than my GP, and when trying to set up an appointment at the supposed emergency clinic, both the phone line and the online appointment setter are broken. What the hell is going on, guys? How can you say you offer emergency service if no one can walk in, no one can set an appointment, and no one can get their results quickly?

User

The appointments system for 56 Dean St is a good example of Ordeal by Bureaucracy. I'm healthy & I'm finding it the most difficult and obstructive system ton attempt to navigate. If it wasn't for the seriousness of the subject, I would give up. What a shabby example.

User

Not happy with the way booking appointments work. They have an online service to book an appointment that basically tells you to call the clinic! SO whats the online system is for then?

First the number is for Chelsea & Westminster Hospital not direct for the clinic. Second you have to wait ages on the line to book an appointment for the next day. Hello they are people who work shifts and they cannot leave their job whenever!!

Also they don't let you book an appointment for any other days apart from the next one. This is STUPID because that could help the clinic organise better their time and appointments as well as TIME MANAGEMENT that can get what kind of workloads they have!!!

I am trying to book an appointment since last week and still no booking! I'm calling every morning and follow the process and no respond

User

I was calling your customer service number to book an appointment for a blood test for the Hepatitis B, C and unfortunately I do not appreciate the way your staff spoke to me on the phone, she was so RUDE and this is absolutely unacceptable.

She told me to call back next time as no appointments are available at the moment . I just wonder what is the point that we are paying so much of money to the NHS every month but we couldn't use the service?this is so RUDE!

Please explain

User

Every time I have an interaction with this clinic, there is a cockup. The most recent was the appointments staff saying, effectively, "the computer says no" and making no attempt at all to solve the problem related to trying to get a cancer-surgery follow-up; next appointment in 4 months. The number I got on the original appointment letter was also wrong. I understand the NHS adores amateurism as a way of life, but it gets bloody tiring for patients trying to get on with their lives healthily. This has happened EVERY time I've had anything to do with this clinic. The staff apologise but nothing changes and no responsibility is taken for making sure things work next time. It has all the glam of Virgin and all the professionalism of Aeroflot. The clinic manager should be fired.
